Yes, and then vast numbers of them immediately try to initiate the exact same insane progressive ideologies and politics -- the results of which they just finished fleeing from -- in their new state. They are inherently incapable of learning from their own incessantly repeated mistakes.
There is something about living in cities. The bigger the city the more stupid the people become. The smaller the city the more self reliant and smarter the people are.
Maybe there is a scientific reason to it. Most likely fresh cleaner air going through your brain, less stress from commute and dealing with debt and high cost of living. There may be other factors I can think about. But how can someone think straight facing those conditions?
Well, and New Yorkers don't feel like the officials take their safety seriously.
Sounds like a problem that nobody knows how to fix, or there's some other problem that we're not properly identifying.

The presence of crime in a high population density? No, nobody's ever solved that, ever. And voters can see past your attempts at concern trolling so mystery solved 🤷
I'm not trolling, I'm not living in a city.
If Democrats want them to burn, no skin off my but

I don't think you understand what I mean by concern trolling. The point is, we KNOW it's no skin off your butt. That's why it wouldn't help the problem one bit if you were in charge instead.
All I see is cities like Seattle and Portland have Dem mayors encouraging the rioters and cities like Billings with the militia being deputized and the thugs rolling back out of town before the looting and rioting started.
You can keep Seattle and Portland, and I'll keep Billings.
Deal?

You've basically just admitted that all you really want is to complain about these cities while doing nothing to help win elections away from the Dem mayors.
Which is why, as I say, y'all keep losing to the Dem mayors.
Seattle and Portland saw through you a long time ago. No deal. You offered nothing. These cities left you behind, not the other way around.
False
Spend a lot of time and money, but when you're told top-down who the candidate is going to be rather than bottom up like a republic is supposed to be, you're wasting your time and money.
Let them burn and loot, I will live somewhere else.

Again, you're not being magnanimous here. You're the one who failed to make city voters interested in your politics. THEY rejected YOU.
Pataki, Giuiani, and King Bloomy (3 terms, the manipulating bastard), plus a plethora of others, inc reps on the fed and local level, might disagree with that assessment.

I'll never understand how the Rudy managed to organise an entire campaign given he is and always was an absolute walking mess of a supposed professional. I presume New Yorkers were using a lot of shoe polish that year.
Him and Puketaki, gosh, what a awful mess.
I figure the Penguin released some hypnotic loony gas upon the unsuspecting citizenry here in Gotham to make up for the lack of zany googly eyed fun we had during the unhinged delerium that was the era when Ed Koch got the gig. How I wish Bella Abzug was Mayor then. That would have been perfect. Back when bedlam that was NYC was cool *wipes a crusted tear*
ALMOST 60% OF NEW YORK CITY REGISTERED VOTERS ARE WORRIED ABOUT RISING CRIME AND PUBLIC SAFETY AND ARE IN AGREEMENT THAT THEIR FAMILY WOULD HAVE A BETTER FUTURE ELSEWHERE. SO THEN WHY DON'T YOU NEW YORKERS STOP VOTING FOR VIRTUE SIGNALING, SOFT ON CRIME, SJW, WOKE AND POLITICALLY CORRECT DEMOCRAT POLITICIANS?
