Hmm.. maybe, but I think the human condition is always about appeasement, so it is a tougher sell. First it is always about "whatever your pleasure" sell in hedonism. Homosexuality is the easiest by far because lesser moral outrage b/c consent is not an issue, as long as they're 2 consenting adults.
Next is age, starting with blurring lines of the younger generation say 18 and 16 yr old, then gradually increasing the age gap as acceptable consent, removing the statutory age limits. So consent is still there, now it is about changing the definition of statutory, or why limit consent to age.
Animals will be next as mankind already blurring that line. A long time ago "sentience" was defined as an inherent human quality, indicated by our notion of self-identity - "Who am I?" "Where did I come from?"
But even that definition has now been changed and sentience merely means anything that can feel emotions, so dogs and cats are now called sentience. But again, why limit consent to children? Animals have rights to consent too.
And when all above have been established, consent will be removed all-together b/c that is the final outcome of group think. You are one of us or you are anti-society. It is already beginning now, people just don't realize it. For example, you are a white person who is not attracted to a black person, you are accused of racism. Next, you are a person who is not attracted to the same sex. You will now be accused of some sort of intolerance. And of course, age, then beasty, all covered above. And the final outcome is simply you are a slave and if you do not conform to the depravity of the people, you are intolerant.
Thus, "Sodom and Gomorrah," when the mass demands Lot to handover their guest visitors for whatever sexual depravity without any consent.
