Insulting people is a form of harassment and makes it less fun for other people

You think you're being clever by pointing out that the specific word "insult" does not appear in the rules, while conveniently ignoring the fact that insulting people clearly violates the terms of use

I’ve was banned for 24 hours just for posting this meme (as a comment reply… meant to imply user was a follower).

I think that is an inappropriate moderation response to what amounts to a satiric criticism.

You have to take that up with whoever flagged that comment. But as a general rule, anything seen as insulting another user is likely to be met with disapproval

The point is, I should not have to “take it up with” anybody. We are getting banned over benign bullshit just like that.

wow, I got one for posting a link to a meme someone made mocking ME! That link was "Insulting user" and along with another deletion, got me 48, while that memer got none for submittting THREE (that I know of) of that same meme about me on different streams.
It gets better. That memer did it because he thinks I'm an alt of one of the community mods. That's right, a head mod gave me a timer because someone slagged me because he thinks I'm one of his fellow mod colleagues. That mod had once used one of my templates, the memer has a grievance against him, and I get the target on my back and can't even reply or it's "abuse"

The righty mods don't even follow their own rules.

Your behavior, personality and way of thinking is insulting to me, just as mine insulting to yours. I do not want you banned because of it, and I bet you would agree with me. However it is unintentional and it is not harrasment. Two different words. Now, if I was throwing cuse words at you and calling you names which do not represent who you are, that is harrasment, there is intention with that.
