I find flaws every day in compiled statistics, I hear them and look around at my personal experiences. My wife and I have two children. Yes, at a certain point she took time from her career when they were young to be there for them. She made no money and i picked up the slack. After they were a bit older, she resumed working and now makes twice what I do, and I make good money. So, at the end of the game, she will be equal or have made more than I have. I wonder if the statistics take into account how many poor single moms have low earnings because they are doing the job of two people? There are so may dip shits that father children and are absent monetarily and otherwise. As for people of color earning less as you previously mentioned I just know what I see. My drywall guy is Hispanic and i regularly write him checks above 20K. My plumber is Black and charges me $122.00 per hour. Both of these gentlemen make more money than I do. And yes, they earn it busting ass and doing a good job. They will be the first to call bullshit, you get out what you put in. Enough of the whining! No, the world is not fair or equal and never will be. No matter how much we try to deny or escape it we are part of nature and nature is competition. Some make it, some don't.
