It is his responsibility that he committed suicide, but I think it's highly hypocritical that they're arresting people at the January 6th riot but not even charging BLM rioters for destroying property. Heck, my introduction to BLM rooting after George Floyd's death was that a black sports player I knew of opened a shop after he retired, and it got completely looted during a riot. It's also hypocritical that Trump should be arrested but Hillary shouldn't, despite the fact that she let people die under her watch, didn't seem to give a rip, and then destroyed evidence about the whole thing (which makes you wonder what the heck happened there). And it's also hypocritical that Trump should be blamed for the mob attack without any proof whatsoever, since all negative claims about Democrats are untrue if there is little proof.

Your points are well taken, Commander, and outline some of the hypocrisy very well. I would love to make a meme of all the hypocrisy of the left but it would be TOO LONG.

The suicide to me is so extremely SAD but I have read of how these Americans have been treated in jail. It has been unconscionable and definitely wrong in every way. If he took his own life, he is responsible for that action as you say however, he was 'driven to it' by these monsters. This treatment of citizens should have been stopped a LONG time ago! I cannot believe that we are not all in agreement on that as Americans and therein lies the hypocrisy you referenced.

Yes, I agree. The moment I saw this, I had a feeling that something about their treatment was very wrong. Plus I've read how people treated people in USSR jails, and let me just say, Nazi prisons were not anywhere near as bad as theirs. Really what happens is when someone has or wants absolute power, they do whatever they please with those that disagree with them. And that is why I think mistreatment in US jails will not stop. There is a time for it, like when you're trying to get information out of terrorists about what city they're going to bomb next, but other than extravagant things like that, there's really no merit to it.

Plus I find it hypocritical that Democrats seem to hate the idea of the death penalty and torture done to anyone, no matter what they've done, but when it comes to "Proud Boys" and January 6th, all of that fake "compassion" on humanity disappears and is replaced by "Go die in a hole, you Nazi scum". Like they legit have no standards besides "what we feel at the moment" which is easily manipulated by the press since people seem to have a one month memory these days.

Matthew Perna was one of the 786 people who had been charged with crimes related to the Capitol activity on 6 January. He faced up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000!

He was a good person and it was overwhelming to him. His family said in an obituary that he died of a "broken heart". His life mattered. I know he wasn't black so maybe you are one of the people who think only BLM. Everybody's life matters. Perhaps you could have withstood the stress that was placed on him and not committed suicide. And perhaps not as you have probably never been in his shoes so don't know how you might have reacted.

Please give him the respect he deserves for having gone through something that was blown way out of proportion. The Democrats and the media are to blame for that and deserve full credit for placing him between a rock & hard place and have blood on their hands.

KingToady, they removed the death threat. My comment was deleted as well as I referenced the fact that his "mental illness" was showing and that he should delete his own comment before the mods saw it. When one makes a comment like the user did, a rational person might choose to use those words in rejection of the other's thought process which is off kilter. Mental illness must be trigger words for libs/leftists.

I guess we can't use certain words in the 21st century unless they are on an "approved list"? And, in your case, how is saying "cry more" bullying? I am seeing similarities. Not good...what is it about free speech that is so misunderstood? It is not all about feelings and victimhood. It is about freedom to voice your opinion and listen to others' ideas (or not as it is your choice to to scroll on to something else) and that's it.

Also I'm not a Nazi, and never was. Nazism has always been against everything I stand for. I can't fricking believe I have to explain this because I am not gullible enough to believe that the 2020 election was legitimate, and because I know that Biden is an absolute trash can of president and we'd be far better off with Trump.

I've never been to one. Also you seem to have missed the part where I said "Nazism is against everything I stand for", so let me elaborate. Nazism was Germany's socialist worker's party (that's what Nazi stands for) and they worked with avowed communists. For example, Stalin made a pact with Hitler to allow him to invade Poland, because he knew that would trigger England, and suddenly the two biggest countries in WWI are at odds already. The man actively tried to start another world war. Hitler would later bail on him and try to conquer his country because both of them wanted to be global authoritarian dictators, a dream that did not allow room for both of them. It's safe to say these people are pure evil, and I will never support any of them. Whether or not you realize that is beside the point, but what I'm trying to say is that we've got much bigger problems than Trump right now. Because there were Stalin supporters in America back from when he took over the USSR, and those people are still around, or shall I say, they have control over the public opinion.
