The federal government is only supposed to have limited power under the constitution.

Most AGENCIES/BUREAUCRACIES of the federal government are extraconstitutional.

Extreme conservatism with relation to the constitution is irrational. If one adheres to the letter of the constitution, you will fail to adapt to the times you face. That which remains more and more rigid as times change, will cease to function.

Which tells me you really have no idea how the Constitution works. Let me ask you this: have you ever read it?

I mean, one step further:
We can both read the constitution, and have different interpretations of it.

Amendments are necessary to the constitution.
Amendments are a progressive part of constitutional interpretation.
That is, unless you think women and people of color shouldn't vote.

It doesn't matter whether I have or not. I could ask you the same question and you would be just as able to prove it as I can. We can both sit here and point fingers over something that we can easily copy paste.

Personally, I wouldn't have bothered asking someone such a question on the internet; waste of time.
