That's happening everywhere. Ever heard of CAPITALISM? No? You seem to champion it. This is the result of unprecedented demand and like no supply. That's everywhere, it would happen even if Trump was in office.

No, I'm merely pointing out the simple economics of capitalism. If there's more demand and less supply, prices go up and things are off the shelf. If there isn't enough supply, nothing's on the shelf in ANY system. But please, understand BASIC ECONOMICS. Less supply=less supply.

Hmmm, and why do you think there's less supply? Could it be due to the Democrats and their socialist and "environmental" requirements imposed on the cargo ships and trucks? There's a reason these supplies aren't getting to the shelves and it isn't because we have a high demand. We've always had a high demand.

1) Environmental demands imposed by Democrats to appease the radical leftist hippies.

2) Trouble finding truck drivers and other workers that left due to vax mandates and the government paying them to stay home.

3) Increased regulations on farmers and ranchers. They have a much harder time getting their product produced and out to the consumer due to these worthless regulations and fines of they don't comply.

Demand severely constricted due to this plague thingy in 2020. They killed literally millions of cattle and hogs because school was out and there were no takers, flushed millions of gallons of milk into the sewers. Somewhere between the threat of eviction, interstat travel curtailed, and basic not wanting to get sick, illegals didn't go migrant picking. Crops rotted on the ground.

The stimulus helped stimulate demand while also giving workers reason to say home a little longer, hoping for better jobs in the future whil milking the teat for all they could. Demand curtailed the previous year meant so was supply. No supply means demand means shortage.

Were all these people locked in a cryotube in 2020 that they don't remember this and the empty shelves to show for it? Closing in on 2 years, and I STILL can't buy Koffee Kup Donuts on Amazon, as well as a mess of other things.

What you call "capitalism" is a thick label and an intellectual chimera to equal and cross out everything that supposedly allows private property and free trade. As if such things were under the control of something or someone. And when something or someone tries to control them, what they do is steal and enslave, appropriate that property and freely trade with it, for their own benefit and empowerment.

Since stealing and slavery is not a good deal, the countries that make this "distribution" of wealth tend to be permanently poor, and no one should want to emigrate to these countries if not to flee from them whenever they can.
