I encourage people to stop watching all mainstream media. It is amazing how relieved you feel and not to mention just much, much happier in general.

I know... Most people are sadly addicted to MSM, though... Telling them to constantly be afraid...

I can only speak for myself, but I did it, and it worked.

But like the media abuse junkie I am, I keep going back... and fortunately keep stopping again, and feel better again, until I go back... It's a vicious cycle!

on a slightly side note: I have noticed that more and more, if not all, when I click on a link that looks to be an article, it turns out to link to a video clip, which is obviously taken out of context and misleading, it makes me feel cheated for clicking the link in the first place.

Socialism doesn't mean seizure of property. That is a large, common side effect, but it is not necessary. Socialism is essentially the forced redistribution of wealth by the state. Which is what most of the "tax the rich" initiatives and legislations are doing. Here are a few examples.
