The CEO of BioNtech DID NOT say that 3 more shots and a booster would be required, taking it to a total of 7 shots (6 plus a booster).

The BioNTech Chief Medical Officer Ozlem Tuereci said at a press conference, "The first line of defense, with two doses of vaccination, might be compromised and three doses of vaccination are required to restore protection."

The Chief Medical Officer said that the 2 dose version might not be as effective as a 3 dose version.

If you watch the whole video (like I did) then you would clearly hear the reporter ask the CEO, "should your vaccine be considered a 3 dose vaccine and not a 2 dose with a booster?" The CEO nods and says that the data with omicron shows that BioNTech's vaccine should have 3 doses.

At no point does anyone claim that you'll need 7 total doses plus a booster. Not once.
