That isn't the American flag. Not the one I'm talking about. But if any flag offends you, maybe you should rethink your life. A piece of cloth doesn't offend me, no matter what it is.

That is the Repugnant racist flag they love so much while claiming to be patriots.

Personally, I think every black household in America should fly that flag and take away its power. That's all it would take to keep them rednecks from flying it ever again. Call it a symbol of victory over oppression. Taking symbols from those that hate is just that easy. Do the same with the swastika. It was hijacked by Hitler and it can be hijacked back if done correctly. Or, just don't let symbols trigger emotions you have to force up anyway. Nothin more disgusting than watching a black man fake tears while driving by a cottonfield while he's wearing Nike shoes and wearing cotton shirts.

Flags don't offend me at all.

What I don't like is having young kids in schools reciting this weird ritual every day, that they don't understand.

It isn't difficult to understand. If they don't understand it they should be taught.

Taught? Or indoctrinated?
2 ups, 3y
Or mumbled by an apathetic populace with no understanding nor care as what it stands for slips away from them?

Those who wish to hijack our electoral process are right now busy at work while some blithering buffoon is trying to etch his name into history by pushing for funding to fill in the potholes in the roads that FDR made possible because, like, while everything goes to heck, a legacy as road resurfacer is the priority.
Might as well paint them red and have them lead to the White House for when he hands Trump back the keys in 2024.

If I didn't know better, I'd say Biden was trying his damndest to facilitate that.
If I didn't know better,,,

Is learning 2+2=4 indoctrination or is it only indoctrination when it has to do with the history of the flag and the country?

2+4=4 is fact. But yes, if history is ever taught falsly, it's indoctrination. The same being one's attitude to a country, even if it's your own.

Sure, you can absolutely teach the kids what the pledge means. But then is it right to force minors to pledge their allegiance to anything?

Fact is, you could take a look at any other totalitarian country and how they "educate" their children. They will have the same rituals meant to build loyalty to the state and accept dogma without question. Were it North Korea, you would call the practice indoctrination. So call it what it is, a spade is a spade.

HAHAHA.

But, if you like the backbone to better yourself, you lack the backbone to move to a different country. Complaining is easier than doing something about it. I understand, it is also that simple.
