Have you seen the hundreds of thousands of people in the U.S. who have NOT extended their lives but "lost and compromised" their lives getting vaxxed? The left won't openly allow the Doctors and professionals who have spoken out against the jab to voice their opinions and studies. It is called censorship and it makes it hard for people seeking the truth to find it. If you call supporting open borders a method to make it easier to allow people legal entry into the U.S., then that puts us on a fast track to annihilation of America, IMO. As a student, you should study up on Language, Borders and Culture and see how important those are to a country.

Perhaps your parents are liberals and support the Progressive education you are receiving, Dashiell. It places you in an impossible position to see the importance of conservative thought and values. Please open your mind and use it instead of knee-jerk reactions and emotions you have been taught to rely on. Oh, my gosh, no need for any apology!!! You did nothing wrong!!! In NO way did you offend any conservative on here. Libs get offended, conservatives don't. We like to talk about things and reason them through. Datdeus is right as usual...you most definitely are entitled to your opinion without apology. And Lokiare was sharing facts with you...both Datdeus and Lokiare are very smart conservatives.

As a mother and a conservative, I wanted to respond to your comments. When I was your age, I didn't know 'diddly darn' about politics and I admire you for leaving a comment about how you envisioned conservatives. We get a really bad rap from the left and any time I can put facts out to a young person, I try to do so. I never even 'thought about politics' at your age and totally respect you for expressing your opinion! This is how you learn! I told our two kids that there was never a silly question they could ask and I always wanted them to come to me rather than get misinformation from their friends.

PLEASE do not stay out of this political stream. You will gain so much knowledge and you can adjust your outlook as to what makes sense to you. Your school environment is most likely liberal. Naturally, with this influence it is difficult for you to see where we are coming from but if you give us a chance, we will confront issues with facts and not emotions and craziness.

First of all, I am a liberal person and I don't really get offended by much, I just find some things dumb, and those things are not simply just conservative ideals or conservatives, I find people dumb and that means people who overreact or take things too far (rioters, extremists, etc.). Second, I will stay in the stream to gather opinions opposite of mine to find some ideas I agree with, but I will mostly stick to musical streams because that is where my passion lies.

Stick around. It's good to engage with people who have different opinions. You sound like someone that would be fun to cross swords with. I don't care what you're politics are. THe exchange of ideas makes us better thinkers.
