But what about BLM, reproductive rights, and LGBTQ rights? The anti-vaccine mandate crowd seems to overlap heavily with those who didn't and don't back those rights.

I'm not saying this is somehow retaliation, because it isn't. I'm saying, I don't agree with you that the current things that are happening infringe on freedoms. These are reasonable actions that have been taken in the past as well when there have been diseases that warranted it.

But I do back you when it comes to protesting or refusing the vaccine. Nobody can force someone to make good decisions.

I consider a good decision as not getting the jab. I seen the problems it has caused many people. I would guess you think that it is unwise not to get the jab. I think we should always observe individual rights over the collective.

I find most people who use the term collective and individual rights support abortion bans and hated on BLM. Seem to support laws restricting the treatment options for trans kids, etc.

In short, the old school individualism seems restricted by your moral 🧭. As is mine. I'd prefer no individual restrictions or coercive action, but all laws boil down to collective good. And all fines and jail time are coercion.

False dichotomy. Both can be true. If you aren't free to choose then you aren't selfish or selfless. Freedom is the right to be selfish, or not.

People have every right to protest and stand up against anything they see as unjust. And others are free to think that those people are being selfish, extreme, irresponsible, hateful, and irrational.

And the so called sceptics who constantly say the msm, CDC, who, etc are lying - they also have to show evidence. Skepticism is applied to both sides.
