Why do the facts scare you so. I have taken the time to read the text of the study in question, (Effects of a Single Dose of Ivermectin on Viral and Clinical Outcomes in Asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Infected Subjects: A Pilot Clinical Trial in Lebanon). You can find it in the journal "Viruses." if you go to the full study, all of the pages are clearly marked "Retracted." The most interesting thing about this expensive study is that it had "No outside funding." I worked for the largest medical research organization in this country (the VA) and at a hospital with over 100 principal investigators, most of whom I knew. These well paid and well funded UCLA affiliated researchers would not have had the money in their institutional accounts to fund such an expensive efficacy study. I smell a rat.

I have written to the administrators of the highly respected Regional Medical Center in Lebanon and asked what they are doing to distance themselves from this fraudulent study. It will be interesting to see who funded this.

Ivermectin is manufactured by big companies. As are all the other "supplements," you have to take over and over again. So, are all the expensive medicines the tens of thousands of people critically ill with Covid-19 have to be given. The vaccine actually decreases sales of pharmaceuticals.

The downside is that it encourages people to avoid taking a safe, highly effective vaccine that could have put this virus behind us months ago and returned things to a more normal state. The only people who benefit from anti-vax disinformation, are extremists who need disruption to further their political ends and bring in donations.

I have read the full text of the phony Ivermectin study from Lebanon, published in the Journal Viruses. The authors list no outside funding, which is strange, given their reference to a study they did in Iraq (unpublished) that they say reached the same conclusions. Nor do they fund this type of expensive efficacy study "out of pocket."

I have written to the administrators of the hospital in Lebanon where the study was supposedly done asking them what they are doing to clear their name. It is a Regional Medical Center well known for the quality of care. I don't think they will take the rap for this international ruse committed for the sole intent of causing chaos in the treatment of Covid-19.
