My wife and daughter are both immunocompromised...that's why they aren't taking the vaccine...a process that creates a condition in the body that triggers an immune response. In their case, the body wouldn't trigger a strong enough response to overcome the vaccine, creating a problem where there was none. Lots of people out there like that, but they know how to stay safe.

Ok. So explain to Via_Getty why it's important for people who CAN take the vaccine to stop spreading COVID people who can't.

People with the vaccine are spreading it at a faster rate than people who don't have the vaccine. Everyone is spreading it. The virus is not hampered by someone who was vaccinated against it. The viral load has been shown by CDC studies to be the same virtually in everyone who catches it regardless of vaccination status. If anything, people who are unvaccinated are in more danger from people who are vaccinated and have covid the vice versa. This is based on sheer percentages.

I'm struggling to believe you. Every immunocompromised person I've met in the last twenty months is terrified and furious that people like you are so callous about the situation. Three people I knew who were immunocompromised died in tears as COVID finally overcame them. Each of them cried "it's not fair" to me.

And I think they're right. It isn't. They're paying the price for risks that other people took. It ISN'T fair at all!

I also agree that it's not fair. Those people died because their doctors chose politics over administration of healthcare. I'd be pissed, too.

All three of those people could have been given HCQ and Zinc. They would have lived.

And extrapolate this out to 2021, so yes. Here we are with doctors who feel justified in letting certain Corona patients die. Or letting most of them die in order to plump up the fear-statistics. Or deny patients IVM or HCQ because Orange Man Bad. Nope! On the vent you go until pneumonia takes you away!
