It isn't as Democrat as you think. If you live in West Hollywood or the SF Bay Area you might think ti is. But once you step out of those leftist enclaves you will run into an awful lot of everyone else who thinks the Dems are dangerous. We escaped 20 years ago but my brother and his family still live there. My nephews from my other brother who cancer took from us still live there. My wife's family on her mom's side still live there (well except that most of them are Democrats). I have a whole lot of friends still stuck in California.

California needs to break up into 2 or more states. One state can be gerrymandered around all of the Democrats. Then they can work as hard as they want destroying their own state without forcing all of their crap on the rest of the people.

Then if they do that my wife and I can move back to the safe state where jobs will be plentiful and the economy will thrive. California is way too good of a state to be wasted on people who only know how to destroy everything they touch.

So to say that COVID is worse in the conservative areas of California is false.

Masks and vaccines are not necessarily a right vs left thing. I'm sure there are more people on the left who are vaccinated than on the right. I am about as far right as you can get and my wife and I got vaccinated. If I knew then what I know now I would have advised my wife to not get vaccinated. The vaccines have been linked to Deep Vein Thrombosis. My wife already has had 2 DVTs in the last 15 years. She is taking blood thinners right now. However, she isn't having any problems as of yet and we got vaccinated in either April or May (I don't remember).

I will say that the right is more interested in paying their mortgages/rent and putting food on the table than the left. That is why so many on the right HATE the lock downs. Especially considering the state governments do not have the right to shut any business down. That is a power that they have taken unconstitutionally.

If Trump ran again in 2024, depending on who is running against him in the primaries I might consider switching back to Republican just so I can vote for someone better. However, if the Republican primary candidates are all lame I'll stick with the Constitution Party.

Jan 6th was NOT an insurrection. It was not triggered by Trump. That is more than obvious if you listen to Trump's speech that the left has been hiding from the public as much as they can. i have family and friends in California my self, they are democrats and republicans and they both think California is isn't to bad, everyone they know there also thinks they are okay (besides fires). while i agree it is bad in terms of everything being over priced, as long as you have live in a house that you can sell for enough money or a job that pays you enough to get by or are retired, it is not as terrible as you think.

My brother and his wife are retired and living on really good pensions they got from their jobs. They live in Orange County.

My brother would leave in a heartbeat if it wasn't for two things. His wife will not live anywhere else except for So. Cal. She absolutely hates everywhere that is not So. Cal. And the other thing is his two sons and their families live there and they don't have any intention of leaving either. My brother loves his wife and kids and grand kids too much to leave but he hates California and especially what it has become. I do too and that I why my wife and I left. I think that if I died my wife might go back to Cali but maybe not. We both really miss the weather. You just cannot find weather like that anywhere in the US. If you can put up with humidity then you can find it in Florida but that is about it. Then there is Hawaii which actually has better weather than Cali and the humidity isn't that bad but it costs a fortune to live there.

of course every election that is won by a democrat is rigged, but whenever a republican wins the election was fair square. because that is conservative logic for ya!
