I think some people are missing the point with my EQUITY meme. If you only pay a doctor the same wage as a garbage collector, doctors will leave your country to pursue more profitable pastures elsewhere. It's what is known as "brain drain" when highly educated professionals leave a country due to unrealistic tax policies, corrupt and oppressive governments, rising crime, outdated obsolete equipment, etc.

Plus, as much as we need garbage collectors to pick up our trash and we should be grateful while also treating those men and women with respect and pay them properly given the health risks they are taking, that does NOT mean they deserve to be paid the same wage as a doctor ($200,000 to $500,000 per year and upwards depending on the medical specialty).

THAT IS THE POINT. Equity is all about EQUAL OUTCOMES, not about equality, and no garbage collector, bus driver, teacher, etc. deserves to have the same financial outcome as doctors that are saving lives and had to spend several years in medical school, have to pay large premiums for medical malpractice insurance, and have to write papers, attend seminars, and take courses during their entire professional lives (just like chartered accountants, lawyers, teachers, etc.) in order to keep the professional medical designation they earned.

Garbage collecting is not a profession and does not have the same level of responsibility as the medical profession or the same level of education and constant training required and therefore it does NOT deserve the same rate of pay, but Socialists, Marxists, and Communists are brainless in this matter.

No, it's a good example because it depends on the country regarding how much sanitation workers earn, but just Googling American sanitation worker salaries average about $28,000 up to $33,000 per year, but that depends on which city and which state, but my underlying point that they should not be paid the same salary as a doctor nor should a doctor's salary be reduced to be more inline with a sanitation worker. My point is Socialists and Marxists are CLUELESS and UNREALISTIC which is why they have had idiotic ideas like everyone should be paid the same salary or expect equal outcomes. Those ideas are insane for the reasons I already covered.

It's the same nonsense when Democrats are pushing for racial EQUITY instead of racial EQUALITY, the latter of which sensible people support because they want people to be treated equally under the law and to have the same opportunities, but having the same opportunities (like having a quality elementary school, high school, or college education) will NOT guarantee equal outcomes because no two people are alike regardless of race, colour, or creed, and therefore achieving equal outcomes (EQUITY) is not possible or realistic. It's just a bunch of virtue-signaling and race-pimping garbage that dishonest Democratic Party politicians spew to hide how disgraceful, racist, and incompetent they are.

Pick any job you want that doesn't require the same level of education or life and death responsibilities compared to a doctor, lawyer, chartered accountant, or other professional. How about a grocery clerk being paid the same as a doctor? That's not putting down grocery clerks (or sanitation workers in my original meme). It simply means salaries are determined by levels of skill, responsibilities, scarcity and demand for such skills, etc. so EQUITY (same salaries or same outcomes) will NEVER work or be desirable.

That reminds my lil' observation of how Doctors and Lawyers work the same way:

The bad news is, you're going to have to pay me to prevent it."

Try getting a PhD in Biology just to work at a zoo - nearly the same amount of work as Medical School, and tell me what you think of their pay (which is far less than in Sanitation).
