If you want to take a deep dive into the copycat nature of the left, look no further than the adoption of conservative taunts by the left....except, the adaptations are often ridiculous. Take the libturd to conservaturd (altered to avoid the wrath of snowflakes). They couldn't take the spirit of the taunt and come up with their own taunt - no, they copied it exactly without realizing that it doesn't have the same impact. Then after years of "the left can't meme", someone on the left had the bright idea to replace the word "left" with "right" and say it back. Too little too late, the standard was already set - nobody is impressed by a copycat.
