I think you believe people too easily. Jussie Smollett, Bubba Wallace - you were all over those stories and they turned out to be liars. So quick to cast judgement against those you disagree with. You assume immediately that the employer is guilty before a trial ever occurs. You're taking the word of the side you favor...as you always do.
Besides, this isn't the slippery slope that you want to go sledding on. Everyone will start demanding special protections. When everyone gets a trophy to spare their feelings, then trophies have no value any more. This is no different. Legislation won't save the weak minded from being weak minded.
