1. We are worried about both.

2. White supremacist extremist groups are identified by the DHS and FBI as the largest domestic terrorist threat.

I'm pretty sure a dumbass dropping the n word on a text isn't what DHS out the FBI is talking about.

Yep, the white extremists did a bang up job of burning, looting and murdering for 9 months during 2020.

From the same idjuts that say Robert Byrd quit being a racist and good member in standing in the KKK.

Who knows? Robert Byrds voting history for civil rights wasn't great even after he renounced the KKK. Was he still biased? Probably. But I've heard no evidence that his condemnation and regret weren't genuine. To paraphrase guardians of the Galaxy, he was likely an asshole, but not 100% a d*ck.

One does not have to endorse one to condemn the other. Per the 2020 DHS threat brief, they consider the activities of BLM and other social justice crusades or environment groups to be reactionary based on events. The groups they are concerned with are the ones who regardless of events are acting against communities they see as a threat to their values. They also have concern with groups trying to make otherwise peaceful protests violent. It was Boogaloo groups who burned down the Minneapolis police Dept. They ambushed and killed a federal security officer and a cop who tried to arrest them. Maybe a simpler way to put it is they are more concerned with the groups who default to violence not protest.

And most of the people who were killed related to BLM protests are BLM protesters. I'm not excusing the riots, but murder was clearly not a goal.

Boogaloo bois? You mean that internet larp with 20 people? Rapist unicorns are a bigger threat. Just another distraction from the actual domestic terror group Antifa. Even blm violence was more in the moment and getting whipped up in a frenzy caused by a mob mentality and seemingly being anonymous.

How about the woman shot in the head for saying 'all lives matter'?

She was part of a group that got in a fight over the use of a racial slur. Both sides were armed. One of the people in the other group apparently waited and ambushed her group. Murder? Yes. Hate crime? Maybe - I don't actually know the legal criteria.

Honestly, boogaloo and antifa are two sides of a coin. Neither trust the government, they are decentralized. Both are more of a concept than a group - if you say you are a member you are

Apparently there is a rift among boogaloo groups about where to stand on BLM. The more racist member who are probably white supremacists think it's a racial war coming. The more purely anti government people think they should be standing with BLM.

I don't know which is more dangerous - the ones trying to inspire violence and frame BLM, or the idea of the more extreme groups on the left and right finding common ground.

"It was Boogaloo groups who burned down the Minneapolis police Dept. They ambushed and killed a federal security officer and a cop who tried to arrest them."

Do you have a source for this, legit or liberal? Utter nonsense, for if it were true, it would still dominate the liberal news cycle.

it did dominate the news. Weird that you don't know. It was covered extensively. But I'll give you fox news sources.

How so very odd: neither link is working, one of which gives me this message: It seems you clicked on a bad link and stumbled upon our 404 page

But exactly how did you connect them being among the rioters to having burned down the police dept?

Ivan Harrison Hunter was the guys name. You can do a search of you want. I do have to correct myself - he was not charged in the arson, but he was charged for firing 13 rounds into the precinct.

https://www.justice.gov/usao-mn/pr/self-described-member-boogaloo-bois-charged-riot

"Federal agents reviewed a video taken on the night of May 28, 2020, that shows an individual, later identified as HUNTER, discharged 13 rounds from an AK-47 style semiautomatic rifle into the Minneapolis Police Department’s Third Precinct building. At the time of the shooting there were other individuals believed to be looters still inside the building. Law enforcement recovered from the scene discharged rifle casings consistent with an AK-47 style firearm.

According to the allegations in the criminal complaint and law enforcement affidavit, upon returning to Texas, HUNTER made various statements on social media describing the violence in which he engaged in Minneapolis. On June 3, 2020, officers with the Austin Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a pick-up truck for numerous traffic violations. HUNTER was one of three occupants in the vehicle. HUNTER, the front seat passenger, had six loaded magazines for an AK-47 style assault rifle affixed to a tactical vest he was wearing. Officers found three semi-automatic rifles on the rear seat of the vehicle, one loaded pistol in plain view next to the driver’s seat, and another loaded pistol in the center console. Several days after the traffic stop, federal agents became aware of HUNTER’s online affiliation with Boogaloo Bois member Steven Carrillo, who has been charged in the Northern District of California with the May 29, 2020, murder of a Federal Protective Service Officer in Oakland, California."

So he wasn't charged with arson . . . so many words to try and avoid the fact that either you lied, or you believed what you wanted to believe because liberalism is a mental disorder.

Try this next time- "I was wrong."
0 ups, 3y
I admitted I was wrong. I remembered that it was the precinct that had burned and that he fired shots. For some reason I had thought he was actively involved in the Arson. That was definitely my mistake.

And he wasn't charged with the shooting either? I believe in baseball parlance, you are batting 0.000

I never said he shot anyone - he fired 13 rounds into the precinct.

So now we believe FBI statistics? I thought those statistics were based in white supremacy according to the left? Like the Crime rates stats that show black commit an overwhelming amount of violent crimes based on their population numbers.. so now that we are dead set on agreeing with the FBI about who the terrorists are , do we believe the crime stats too?

I believe the FBI numbers on violent crime as well. The question of why the crime statistics are so hight is an interesting conversation.

We need to agree on facts, even if we don't interpret them the same.
0 ups, 3y
To interpret the facts are anything other than we have a much bigger issue with black crime BY FAR over alleged white supremacy is sheer stupidity.

"2. White supremacist extremist groups are identified by the DHS and FBI as the largest domestic terrorist threat."

What exactly is it, that you are aware of, that turns a sinful human being into the paragon of virtue once they join either of those groups? Is it truly your contention that those organizations are not dominated by political ideologies, and therefore suspect at best?
0 ups, 3y
Politics are part of everything of course. But there are people across the political spectrum in law enforcement.

I don't assume experts have an ulterior motive, but I do reserve the right to form my own opinions.

Ask yourself, who but white supremacists would take effort to constantly make it seem like the left is always attacking white people. Most people in the left are white. Implying that all accusations of racism are leveled on white people as a whole instead of being specific is a strategy that you sound maybe stop falling for.

Despite the line that the left thinks all white people are racist, we don't. Not all Germans were Nazis. We don't condemn all Muslims because of extremists. We don't condemn BLM because of rioters. White supremacists on the right are the same. They exist, they are a threat. Don't take it as a personal attack unless it's a personal attack.
