So four years of witch hunts, Chuck Schumer telling Trump the CIA will get him, the CIA and the FBI both going after Trump with the help of Democrats through whistle-blower and having congressional hearings to try him for things within the scope of his job duties, 24/7 negative news on him, big tech scrutinizing, fact checking and deleting anything that goes against the mainstream, etc etc etc

How would you feel if someone in your family was shot and killed at a protest or riot or whatever you want to call it, then the cop that shot them was not investigating at all, and then someone called them stupid?

Now I wasn't there, so I don't know how the officer who shot her assessed the situation as it unfolded, but the action seemed (from this angle) a bit extreme (was the window frame in that much danger?), and to joke about it in this manner, a tad cold.

Perhaps she was a danger, but there has been no report that I know of about her intention nor ability to carry it out, other than military training, which itself is not enough to determine what she may have or may have not done.

Her military training should have told her to never try to enter a restricted area without proper authority. The personnel guarding those areas don't treat violators with kid gloves. I'm surprised more weren't shot.

Yes, but were her intentions truly malicious, or more of a mirthy caught-up-in-the-moment thing? Not that whatever excuses breaking the law, but given that others weren't shot as you pointed out makes one wonder about the necessity of shooting her.
Then again with this bumrush of people and the ensuing chaos, something like this occurence was to bound to happen.

That's one of the complicated factors in this whole unfortunate business. There were a lot of people who were deadly serious, mixed in with others who thought it was a big joke and went along for the ride, with no way of telling who was who. Better that it should have never happened, it accomplished nothing and caused a lot of pain.

This is where someone might insert the observation that if perhaps she was a 'recovering' drug addict with a cocktail of 5 drugs in her system she was 'recovering' from while resisting arrest for committing her first crime in a couple of years to tack on to her ever growing record rendered irrelevant by her Church attendance in the last few months ended in her death riots would have raged for months in multiple cities causing the death of innocent people and billions in property damgage including goverment building not as important because they don't house our overlords in DC yet so what it is for a cause.

But I'm not gonna do that as I'm usually debating those blood suckers who think it's all nothing by a joke in the name of partisan propaganda.

Now that you bring that up? Those 3 recounts proceeded due to the Green Party insisting they take place. Hillary and the Democrats had initially turned them down and conceded, but agreed to support the Green's recount campaign to ensure it was fair. The recounts in the end produced no change. Other plaintiffs in Florida tried to ask for a recount there, but they were turned away.

None of the recounts were conducted by private companies.

Trump, however, went on to say all three recounts were a scam to fill the Green Party's pockets, and then later went on to claim fraud (still in 2016) occurred in California, New Jersey and Virginia. This foreshadowed his behavior in 2020, showing that he has been talking about a fraudulent election literally from day one.

All of those recounts were over and done with before the certification ever took place.

Compare that to 2020, where there's a recount happing still to this day, over 6 months after Biden has been certified, and Trump is still claiming he won.

63 lawsuits have been filed so far for several states, most of these have been dropped, ruled against or dismissed by the courts. Trump ordered his administration to not cooperate with the transition to Biden's presidency.

Before the attack on the 6th, other protest occurred in other states, such as Dec 7 2020 in Michigan, where ""Stop the Steal" protestors gathered outside the private home of Michigan's Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson" and Dec 12, 2020, where protestors in Washington, D.C left 9 people injured.

During all of this, officials in contested states were receiving death threats from Trump supporters, while prominent Republicans said nothing about these threats.

There's so, so much more to this mess, but I'm not typing all that down.

Like I said: there is no comparing what happened in 2016 to 2020. In fact, if you want to compare, you get a difference so drastically different that it makes the Democrat's worst moments in 2016 look like saintly restraint.
