I’m taking it seriously. I also don’t wear a face mask since I’m fully vaccinated.

Covid-19 has got a better than 99% survival rate factor, which puts it on par with the common influenza virus, which has been a fact of life for humanity for time out of mind. Notice that during this pandemic there have been just about ZERO reportings of other forms of influenza? That's becaue in order to CREATE a bogus pandemic, the CDC reclassified everything as COVID-19 . . . and the medical establishment making money hand over fist . . . eagerly cooperated.

Actually, the reason for the low rate of influenza is due to so many people taking precautions for covid, which also stops the transmission of the flu, which is less contagious.

Stop it, just stop it. You are making sense and I do not believe the conservatives can handle that.

Funny thing is, I *am* conservative.

You can't have it both ways. The precautions that prevented the spread for one virus (influenza) magically didn't work for the Rona - when they have the exact same transmission routes.

And yet the rona is more contagious and harder for our immune systems to fight off.

99.6% recovery rate.

91% of “recovered” patients have at least one long-term complication from the disease.

out of which orifice did you pull that statistic?

What orifice did you pull your “recovery” rate info from? Just because 99% don’t die doesn’t mean they fully recovered.

https://fullfact.org/health/Covid-recovery-vaccine/

https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/verify/online-posts-claim-999-percent-of-covid19-cases-recover-it-is-incorrect/65-06c0037f-2939-4faa-813c-e25bacbad820

But go ahead and put on your tinfoil hat if it makes you feel better 😁😂🤣

Changing (increasing) the percentage so you can call it incorrect - very classy.

It quoted an online survey as a reliable statistic......the only appropriate response to that is laughter.

I said “Just because 99% don’t die doesn’t mean they fully recovered.” And all you can do is reply with “Changing (increasing) the percentage so you can call it incorrect - very classy.”?

Sorry, I couldn’t find a source for your 99.6% statistic that you apparently pulled out of your anus. But go ahead and nit pick numbers and sources since you apparently can’t back yours up with any source at all. 😂

Cases: 33.4M
Deaths: 597K

597,000/33,400,000=0.01787425149

Ooh...the number got way better since I last looked.

COVID-19 fatality is now 0.017%, making survival 99.993%

Now, that's the US. Worldwide, the numbers aren't as good.

Cases: 173,000,000
Deaths: 3,200,000

3200000/173000000 = 0.01849710982

That's a 0.018% fatality rate, making the survival rate 99.992%

Oh, so now it’s “survival rate” eh? Like I said, just because someone doesn’t DIE of Covid doesn’t mean they recovered from it. It’s like saying there’s such a high survival rate for concussions, whey bother wearing a football helmet?

What happens to those who do not recover? Until you moved the goalposts, recovery meant survival.

Do you want a guarantee that nothing bad will ever happen to you?
0 ups, 3y,
1 reply
That’s my point. Survival and recovery are not the same. Just because there is a high “survival” rate, doesn’t mean Covid is not a serious disease.

In the beginning - you babies were afraid of the virus and clung to every shred of fear you could plug into your eyes. Now that your fear has been proven unfounded - you're clinging to the idea that maybe there are long term side effects....with your only proof an article written by MSN, referencing a South Korean online poll.....with fewer than 1000 participants.

You realize that online polls are not reliable data sources...right?

This phenomenon is called "confirmation bias" - you're willing to believe anything that fits into your current belief set.

How about this newsflash: There are many MANY worse diseases and conditions. You're looking for anything to keep the hysteria going.

Who are you calling “you Babies”? You’re the whiny little brat who doesn’t like to wear a mask because you feel uncomfortable or don’t want to get a shot because your fear needles. As for side effects, they’re a proven fact. You’re clinging to false notions and using death rate statistics trying to justify your fears.

The article I shared was just to answer your question of where I got the 91% stat from. There are plenty of sources proving real long term side effects exist. You’re just too belligerent to look them up yourself for FEAR you might be wrong, so here ya go, baby.

https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/in-depth/coronavirus-long-term-effects/art-20490351

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33532785/

“This phenomenon is called "confirmation bias" - you're willing to believe anything that fits into your current belief set.”
You just described yourself.

Yes, there are many worse diseases and conditions. News flash: they aren’t a pandemic.

I believe the "you" part adequately describes who I was talking about.

In case you aren't aware, natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine immunity. When faced with a virus that has a greater than 99% survival rate - I'd rather catch the virus and beat it than cower in fear while I wait for a vaccine (that hasn't been approved by the FDA) to be rolled out.

I caught and beat COVID-19 early on, before the lockdowns.

The first sentence of your Mayo Clinic article contradicts your BS.

"Most people who have coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) recover completely within a few weeks." (the word "most" indicates greater than half)

The pubmed article also contradicts you, saying the complications last only a short period.

"last weeks to months after initial recovery"

And the Hopkins Medicine article also makes you look like a fool in its first sentence, stating that the complications last "for months."

Guess what - people who get sick recover at different rates. And all 3 of these articles suggest that.....PEOPLE WHO GET SICK RECOVER AT DIFFERENT RATES.

This is why we call you snowflakes. You're so fragile, mere words destroy you.

😂 For someone who thinks he so smart you sure are dumb. How about cutting down your dose of alcohol and weed so you can maybe think clearly.
Did your mommy help you look up the word “Mensa” to try to counter your obvious ignorance? 🤣

I don't drink, smoke, no drugs. I've been a member of Mensa for nearly a decade. I own my business (software development company).

I know I'm smart. I have the track record to prove it.

Hahahaha! So much for masks stopping COVID-19! No . . . that's not what happened. The CDC with collusion from the medical association simply reclassified all forms of cold and influenza as COVID-19 while the fanatically leftist loyal Mainstream Media deliberately looked the other way.

Wow, the CDC managed to get every country in the world to simultaneously pull the wool over our eyes. That’s amazing. It’s a good thing we have individuals like you to show us the light. 🙄

The CDC changed the standards for testing positive for Covid, a lower threshold, a day after Biden was crowned president.
