hahaha, even about that you play ignorant - you are playing, right?
Cane toads not only continue to spread throughout Australia, they're doing it at an ever faster rate, as those on the front line (so to speak) have exhibited legs evolving to be ever longer, thus increasing the speed they can spread, and thus favoring those with the longest legs and so forth...
As they continue to spread, they continue to eat anything moving in their path that they can swallow, which sucks really bad for a fauna that has not experienced them prior to their importation. Anything that eats them chokes as they expand themselves with air, or die of the toxins.
This is despite hordes of Aussies massing to gather them in buckets every once in a while.
But these aren't kangas or dingos or thylacines or Aboriginals (as you call them now because "Aborigine" was so way harsher, suffixing it with "-al" makes it PC!) that y'all can wipe out faster than you can say Tasmania, these are actual pests. You know, like you invaders. So they spread, unabated.
