Extra, Extra, Read all About it! Except on the New York Times! | “THE MEDIA KEPT HOLOCAUST STORIES OFF THE FRONT PAGES. The New York Times, for instance, from the years 1939 through 1945, printed 1,186 Holocaust stories, or an average of 17 stories per month.11 And yet only 26 stories mentioning the “discrimination, deportation, and destruction” of the Jews made the front pages. And of those stories, only six identified Jews as the primary victims. Six stories in six years. Six stories while six million died.”; ― Robert L. Because the average Chinese citizen probably isn't a genocidal freak who wants the CCP to stay in control. Does this mean we should do business with their huge megacorps like Huawei? Absolutely not. Entities like that are CCP operators who need to be cut off from the global market entirely. However, small products probably do more to help some poor factory worker earn a meager living than fund the CCP's quantum communications research or their newest aircraft carrier.

I'm pretty sure buying German chocolate or schnapps wouldn't have been seen as a pro-Nazi move, but you sure as heck wouldn't be doing business with I.G Farben, Volkswagen, or the other German firms that absolutely helped facilitate the Nazis' rule.

The problem is that even if you stop buying Chinese products then you'll still buy products that were made from Chinese parts.

The very conversation we are having right now is being done with products made in China.

I agree with you about not supporting China. But not buying Chinese products is next to impossible. Our government created this environment when Nixon gave China "most favored nation" status. We should have never opened trade with China.

Good job, nice research on this.

Here's how Tom Sticklich portrays a NY Times reporter.

China vs. Nazi Germany | image tagged in china vs nazi germany | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
China is the Nazi empire of our century, no question about it.

China-watchers were hopeful for a long time it wouldn’t come to this, and held out hope China was going to liberalize/democratize.

China’s actions in Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, and ongoing threats against Taiwan should put those illusions to bed.

China will be 10x the challenge Nazi Germany was, because Xi Jinping has nukes and controls 1.2 billion people. War with China is not a real option unless we’d like to have a go at destroying humanity and all life on earth.

Advocacy, boycotts, raising awareness, exposing and confronting Chinese propaganda/hacking/cheating everywhere it rears its ugly head, not bending the knee, shunning and shaming those who do — these are the tools at our disposal.

Time to get to work.

Remember when they boycotted South Africa for less.
