so lets take away peoples protection and and police surely nothing bad will happen with all of those left over guns after the gun law  they  totally wont be used by criminals and people will totally be more safe with no more police nothing horrible will ever happen

Yes, the key component that criminals are looking forward to is defunding the police COMBINED WITH confiscating law abiding citizens' firearms so that they cannot defend themselves.

I’m definitely a liberal, but defunding the police is a really stupid idea. Ofc there’s always room for change, but straight-up getting rid of them is wayyyy too far.

“Defund the Police” simply means breaking up the burdensome social tasks that we’ve unfairly saddled them with as a society and giving them to other experts.
