It actually isn't "anti mask," it's "anti government telling us what to do." I don't have a problem with wearing masks when I have to, like when I take my wife to her Drs appointment and when I set up her dialysis machine.

I am sooo scared ROFL. When there is pandemic, the natural way, and best way, is to get the illness then let your body build an immune system and recover. If you live a healthy live, you exercise and do not smoke keep yourself healthy, then you have NOTHING to worry about. I am not worried about it. But you see there is a biggest issue that kills far more people in America than COVID, one that no one likes talks about, heart disease and obesity, they both go side by side. Yet, no one talks about it because there is NO POLITICAL GAIN from it. COVID came VERY conveniently during re-election and was the biggest factor for Biden winning the election...cause he promised people he had a plan but it was all BS at the end and then once president he confessed he could do nothing to stop it It is all a political game, your part is just a puppet.

You think the best thing to do when an illness spreads is to get the illness? Just how deluded are you? No, the best thing to do is get the vaccine if there is one, or try to avoid getting the illness. We're not talking about some disease that it's better to get as a child, like chickenpox or mumps. Bringing up things like heart disease or obesity is completely beside the point, and these problems existed well before Trump or Biden. You want to talk about health issues worse than COVID-19, let's talk about the fact that quite a few people in this country can't afford to pay for medical bills or medicines. Biden at least expanded Obamacare, which is a step in the right direction, if not perfect. Trump wanted to repeal Obamacare and the pandemic did nothing to discourage him from that. Your anecdotal evidence involving your mother (for what it's worth I am glad she is recovering) changes nothing about the severity of the coronavirus.

You say the Democrats need to keep the population living in fear? Why, because they've been trying to limit the spread of COVID-19 by getting people to wear masks? Because they've been trying to get as many people vaccinated as possible so maybe we can see an END to this pandemic? Because they aren't downplaying the severity of the coronavirus as Trump did? (By the way, the ratio between the number of cases vs. deaths is still far greater with COVID-19 than influenza...also, the supposedly "low" mortality rate you're trying to use as a talking point doesn't mean shit to the over 600k people that have died in the U.S., nor does it take into account the documented long-term aftereffects in many that recovered, so don't try telling me that it's "just another flu".)

How are they doing that by following the science and trying to get the pandemic under control? And what have the Republicans been doing during all of this? Obstructing every piece of legislation that would actually help people. How does this alleged need you say the Democrats have square against Biden's infrastructure plan the Republicans are obstructing? Why would Biden's $1.9 trillion stimulus include aid for small businesses, schools to reopen, and funding for coronavirus testing and vaccines? How is living in fear going to help create the jobs Biden is trying to create by getting the American Jobs Act passed at some point?

And the Republicans? What have they been doing during the pandemic to try to help people? NOTHING. They haven't suggested a single piece of legislation that would in any way help anyone. They are more concerned about crap like cancel culture, nonexistent voter fraud, legislative obstructionism, spreading lies about the pandemic, and holding superspreader fundraising events to advance their own political agenda.

Now, I'm not saying the Democrats are perfect, far from it. But if you're trying to convince me that the actions taken by them during the pandemic thus far are supposed to be some kibd of campaign to spread fear, you're obviously not living in reality.
