Trans people that receive treatment and transition are actually more likely to have fewer anxiety and depression symptoms and are happier and more comfortable with themselves.

If you “genuinely care about people”, you would let them do what makes them happy. You would allow doctors to give people with gender dysphoria the treatment they deem appropriate and the treatment they deserve. You would also respect them, and not call their feelings or identities “nonsense”.

If someone personal in your life came out as trans, third gender or non-binary, would you be accepting and understanding, and be decent enough to refer to them using the pronouns they prefer? If you can’t do that, you do not care about people and you are not a decent person.
