If socialism works, it would be working somewhere

Socialism doesn't work simply because of human greed. We all want more than just having a roof over our head and food on the table. Take it from the people who's life support is having the latest iPhone.

Socialism IS greed. I don't know why leftist want to pin greed on people when Socialism is the very definition of greed. Rich fat cat oligarchs for the citizens to work exclusively for their benefit while the citizens live in abject poverty.

That is not just a theory. That is what happens every single time full on Socialism is tried. Without fail.

And what is so wrong about wanting more than just a roof over your head???? That's not greed. Greed only happens when you hurt other people. Earning a bigger paycheck than your next door neighbor hurts no one except for those who have been raised to envy. Envy is far worse than greed.

The issue is the upper class literally getting its wealth from the lower classes labor in the first place. Socialist nations became oligarchies only after they fell extremely far back towards capitalism, hence the fall of the USSR. Please, my friend, read the fricking theory.

Some greed is good. There are all sorts of reasons why people start up a business. One of them is greed. They just want money. But like the 18th economist, Adam Smith, said, If you are acting in your own best interest you are inadvertently benefiting society (paraphrased - because I don't remember the exact quote). If your best interest is to build a business that lasts and grows then you must produce a product that is better than the competition and/or you sell it as a lower price. If your entire motivation for building a better product and selling at a lower price was so that you can get rich then you are still benefiting society.

Not all greed is good. If that greed causes you to lose your morals then you will end up reaping what you sow. Businesses that lose their moral compasses eventually fall apart.

What is far more destructive is envy. Marxism is built on envy. Marx divides people into two groups and tells one group that the other group is oppressing them. Then he says the oppressed group is entitled to everything the oppressors earn. It does not matter if there is no oppressors or oppressed as long as you can convince people that they are being oppressed.

The division that the Progressives have pushed on American culture started with the rich and the poor but because not enough poor have bought the lie that they are being oppressed they have moved it to racial lines. Even so, there are still not enough "minorities" who think they are oppressed and many are rejecting the idea altogether. But that hasn't stopped the media from fanning those flames of racial division.

An application of basic logic might help your fables sound more grounded in reality.

The standard line that ALL socialist use is that "they didn't do it right, we'll do it right this time." The problem is not the implementation of socialism, it is socialism itself. You just cannot take everything, property rights, freedom, family and life away from the individual and expect any different kind of result.

Socialism doesn't work bc the savings made by buying in bulk are outweighed by extensive oversight. Large cities prove this. Marx said himself that socialism is a temporary ideology, a stepping stone to communism. Socialism is unsustainable and stagnant. I dont know why use Marx to support socialism, the whole point of the manifesto was that everything leads to communism lol
