No but seriously America seems to be in a weird place where it's like.. we can't just ban all guns, we can barely pass any kind of gun control, and we seem to have random horrifying mass shootings happening all the time. So many it's to the point where it's like.... is there a place where there has NOT been a mass shooting??? So far we've had gay nightclub, movie theatre, music concert, school, pre-school, church, etc..

I remember someone on here a year or 2 back was saying something about there not being any mass shootings somewhere allegedly because of their lax gun laws. so I googled the last one there... turned out there had recently been a shooting at a homecoming party which killed a couple people and injured a bunch of others.... then a few days later there was another shooting at the f*cking vigil held for the the victims of the first shooting...

It's funny because Democrats say when they lose votes that it's voter suppression while they turn around and also cancel people and especially try to supress guns. The thing from this that gets me is the hypocrisy. It's like calming you are fighting racism when you make fun of an orange guy, lie about him, and discriminate against anyone against them. Republicans need vote suppression, redistricting, the electoral college, etc to win. They've lost the popular vote what... 8 times out of the last 10 elections? Vote suppression is simply one thing they use. The easier it is for America to vote the more likely repubs will lose.

The vast majority of the alleged "Cancel culture" I have seen discussed here is a joke. Dr Seuss deciding to pull their own books, the director of the sequel to Space Jam deciding to pull Pepe le Pew (before the complaints about him on Twitter) , etc.. who gives a f*ck. Convincing poor and middle class Americans to vote for less taxes on the rich at the expense of services provided primarily to them is a tough sell.. and I don't think PotatoHead and a bunch of cancelled cartoons nobody watched anyway is going to convince anyone otherwise.

As far as "suppressing guns"... Something obviously needs to be done. Nobody wants to live in some 3rd world wild west type situation. Even trump banned bump stocks for guns after that mass shooting in Nevada. Somehow I never hear a peep about that here...

Republicans don't need voter suppression; that's not what's happening. Democrats are suppressing guns, anyway (with your logic). The new voting law imposes new ID requirements and etc. which isn't that bad. We need to stop or limit fraud someway and that just secures the election booths. If you want to vote, go get an ID or whatever!

Are you (also) talking about how the Democrats lost the previous presidential election and cried for 4 years, protesting, questioning the results (and saying they need to 'fight like hell'), saying Russia hacked it (no evidence), etc. And don't get wrong, there are Democrats, Independent, etc. that support Trump and believe this one was rigged. Was it? I doubt Trump won the popular vote but remember not all Republicans are one thing.
