Despite the whole-cloth lie generated by the right wing Noise Machine, Sweden's COVID mortality rate has more than twice the mortality of the United States. https://www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19/89017
The jury is still out on the origin of COVID.
However, if it is proven that China is guilty of malfeasance in spreading designing and spreading COVID, I will be the first to condemn them.
In the meantime, I will presume innocence until China is proven guilty.
Furthermore, Pfizer did not take money from Operation Warp Speed to develop or test its vaccine. Pfizer financed that entire research and development process with a German company owned and operated by Islamic Turks who are genius billionaires.
THEN, Uncle Sam bought the vaccine, but that's just a commercial relationship which could have been established with the European Union or India.
Uncle Sam was fortunate Pfizer chose to sell its top-of-the-line vaccine to the U.S. government. And lest we forget, this independently produced vaccine was the very first vaccine on the market. If anyone deserves the appelation "Warp Speed," it's Pfizer's free market effort to do so, not Trump's attempt to pick winners as y'all used to say. Remember Solyndra?
As I said earlier in this thread: Yes, Pfizer is a SUPPLIER of vaccine to the U.S. effort to control the virus, but the company used its own money to pay a German company (founded by Islamic Turk geniuses) to develop the vaccine without Warp Speed funds.
Your local Coca Cola bottling plant is a distributor/supplier, the most yeomanly of functions.
If you want to pursue your lost argument, you must contend with what I said in the preivous paragraph.
Excerpt from Politifact's "How Pfizer and Moderna's vaccines are tied to Operation Warp Speed": "The deal with Pfizer is for the purchase of the company’s vaccine, once it is authorized by the FDA. Agreements with other companies, like Moderna, include funding for their vaccines’ research and development."
And here's a passage from an NPR's article: "Although Pfizer did not receive government funding this spring toward research and development of the vaccine, it nevertheless received one of the largest Operation Warp Speed supply contracts to date on July 21." https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/11/24/938591815/pfizers-coronavirus-vaccine-supply-contract-excludes-many-taxpayer-protections
