I think my favorite episode of the whole Purgeboy saga so far, is when he created an alt actually using the username "Purgeboy"- Hysterical! It seemed legit at first (very purgey)- but I think Octavia later said that it was not really him... apparantly there are also any number of "Purgeboy-impersonators." Yet another factor that complicates Inspector Clouseau's mystery-solving efforts... If there are any other interesting stories about Purgeboy, I'd like to hear them.

I wasn't that much into the whole Purgeboy thing as some were. I'd say some stuff especially early on, but then went off to scurry in other corners in later months, as I saw feeding him attention was what he sought. So no good tales other than laughing at the 183 bodies and counting he had buried out back.

OM did report him to the authorities, and Purgie made some semi-reference to it, so apparently they checked him out!

I was informed 2 yrs ago that on Gab, there was much talk of this, including impersonators. They started using "Octa" as an obsessive Inspector Clouseau-ish type person pejorative!
(Don't mean to insult OM with that, but they saw him as their overly-persistant nemesis)

Hey VS, yes I remember Octavia would also get worked-up about Purgeboy...Rightly so I guess, hahaha! and he would end up banned- again, but he always seems to re-surface.

I used to tell OM that HE was keeping Purgey going by giving him all that attention. If he and the rest that would jump on him didn't, he'd get bored and go away.

Troll Gardener! Lol- love that! Ya, I had'nt thought about that. All the attention he gets is probably what drives him to troll huh? We all crave attention don't we...Everyone wants to be cool, and be recognized as "part-of". We argue about who is worthy and what for.Purgeboy did'nt get the memo that threatening to murder his political rivals is not the way Cripes. But somehow it seems to work for him. Let me also say that although we are on opposite sides politically, I have always found our conversations pleasurable. I have found your honesty to be very refreshing, and I think you are a nice person. I think being able to disagree about politics, but still being able to be friends and have civil discourse is something we need alot more of these days. Thanks again 🙂

The reoccurring mystery of Purgeboy has become almost legendary around here. I got interested mainly because I have a thing about pics of exploding trains with the word "Purgeboy" 🙄

Since I kept telling OM that his giving so much attention to Purgie was what was keeping him going, I had to pay heed to my own words and....
