Any white kid who grew up as a minority knows that’s not true. There’s more of them than you think. Blacks and Latinos are just as racist as any white people I’ve ever known.

See, I don't 'look' Puerto Rican (whatever that means), and folks assume I'm Italian or Greek. Then they find out where my ma is from and suddenly I've get changed from "white" or paisan to "brown." I've got skillz.

Oh, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. When they find out where my father was from, then the fun REALLY begins. Makes being called a Spic look like I'm part of the Royal Family in comparison. I don’t equate it to racism. It’s prejudice, and everybody has them. Most of us have multiple prejudices. Most prejudices are not even race or skin color related but those are certainly some of the most prevalent. There are only 3 races mongoloid, caucasoid and negroid. Everything else is ethnicity. All races have shown capacity for stupidity and genius. That includes people not understanding that Turks, Arabs, Latinos are Caucasoids. Some who understand it still use it as a divider.

Going from "white race" to "non-white race" or "brown race" based simply on the name of a place is racism to its most ridiculously absurd degree.

Turkic people are originally Mongoloid. Migrating to what is now Turkey with a big Caucasoid population ended up diluting those features, which are still predominant in Central Asian populations.

Latinos in the Americas are of different races, ethnicities, and blends. Their history is our history, only with Spain or Brazil as chief colonizer rather than English.

Like numerous others like it on this very site, it shunts the proven capabilities of these well established politicians onto the 'but they're just a token' pile.
Obama didn't go to Harvard and AOC didn't graduate Magna Cum Laude because their skin tone sez no. They're not even looked at as actual living beings - just defined as adjectives, types, tropes, but never as people, never as individuals.

Yet Obama became a two term president and AOC, who did nothing else impressive i her life became a US congress woman. When you give labels like they did and do you get labels back. Hard to listening to anyone who constantly screams their hate of your skin color no matter what side you are on.
