My point exactly! If my boss came to me and asked a simple question about something that I was supposed to be responsible for I couldn't tell him to go ask someone else. I'd be out on my ass by the end of the week. The best that I could hope to get away with is "Let me find out and get back to you."

Example - my boss: "Jeff (not my real name) what's the status of the Johnson account?"
Me: "I don't know, you'll have to go ask Jethro down the hall"
