You're operating under a false assumption, tojo. I have no moral outrage about Biden. I have no outrage at all about him. Only sad, predictable disappointment. He's exactly what I expect out of a career DC politican. Hell, he's exactly what I expect, period. I'm not outraged by it.
I said it right after he won the election; get used to going back to business as usual, and being lied to, albeit smoothly, on a regular basis. If you're fine with that, then so be it. I'm not fine with it, but it doesn't outrage me, because I've lived with it from politicians in both parties for almost all of my adult life.
If you think for a moment that I'm trying to "whitewash" (a pretty obvious, yet poor choice of words imo, tojo!) what happened at the capitol, then you are, as usual, dead wrong.
Every comment I've posted about what happened there has been against what happened there. Please don't tell me that you're so ignorant as to believe I'm being inconsistent when I point out the hypocrisy of those with situational ethics, who watched federal buildings get ransacked, get looted, and burn all summer long, but now get their collective panties in a bunch, and because I point out that hypocrisy, that you believe I'm in favor of what happened at the capitol?
No tojo. I'm against what happened at the capitol just as much as I'm against what happened at the federal buildings in Portland and Seattle last summer. It is you who considers the heinous actions okay when they're anti-Trump, and the heinous actions to be unacceptable when you attempt to falsely hang them on Trump's words.
The core value behind your phony moral outrage is clear and pathetic. Orange man bad, period.
No tojo, the ends do not justify the means, but for you and those who agree with you, if it's against the orange cheeto, then any action, anything is justified. Try being consistent for one damn time in your life. Until you can manage that, you've got nothing but phony moral outrage.
