That's a funny idea, but according to the 20th Amendment, the terms of the President and Vice President end at noon on January 20th, regardless of when the oath for the new President and Vice President take place.

Nope, not so. The presidential and vice presidential terms begin at 12:00, not when the oath is taken (unless the oath is taken exactly at 12).
