(TW: MENTIONS HOMOPHOBIA, ABUSE, AND THE DEATH PENALTY) No, LGBTQ people don't have more rights than "normal people". In other countries, it is illegal to be LGBTQ+. (This is a link to a website that shows some of these places: https://www.humandignitytrust.org/lgbt-the-law/map-of-criminalisation/). In some of those places, LGBTQ+ people can be imprisoned for their entire lives. And in other places, LGBTQ+ people can have a death sentence. In most places in America, same-sex marriage wasn't legalized until the late 2000s or early 2010s. People who are a part of the LGBTQ community experience homophobia/transphobia daily, including emotional and physical abuse. Also, calling cishet people (people who are cisgender and straight) "normal" is extremely rude, and honestly, it's wrong. Homosexuality has been seen in so many different animal species. Homosexuality is extremely normal. And transgender people have been around for so long, even since the Greek times (I'm not sure what to call that time period, sorry). It was said that Apollo had gotten drunk and accidentally gave people the wrong body parts. This, of course, is referring to the fact that transgender people were born with the wrong body. Don't even get me started on the fact that most insurances don't cover top and bottom surgeries (these surgeries help a transgender get the 'right' body, like removing a trans man's breasts). Anyway, I hope you learned a little, and if I got some information wrong, don't hesitate to tell me about it (unless you're denying the existence of LGBTQ+ people's struggles, then you can please just stop typing, you all have the same arguments). I encourage you to do some research of your own! I'm not trying to make you angry or to hate on you at all, I'm just trying to educate you. Have a good day!
