hahaha, Google this:
calle 13 atrevete
Watch the video, stupidiest song ever, but it's that way intentionally.
I don't listen to Reggaeton, except for on occasion that outfit, this dude called Tego Calderon, and Voltio, who've all worked together and use real instruments and are self-depricating, unlike the rest of that genre that is basically Latin American rap with a bunch of bozos strutting their onions like they're so adorable.
Anyways, Voltio had this song with Residente Calle 13 (the singer), and near the end he says something about go buy it from the label, White Lion, and Residente says, "En Portoro, Leon Blanco," meaning in White Lion in Spanish, PR style. So that's where I got that.
Muh Spanish is bad, so scuse the typos n shit.
Atrevete has a lot of lines that end in English words n stuff, you can see the lyrics and hit translation there.
These two lines are truly aces:
Que va a explotar como fiesta patronal
Que va explotar, como palestino
trans:
That is going to explode as a patronal feast
That will explode, as a Palestinian
In PR, they have feasts in the name of the town's patron Saint that last a week then move to another town the next month and so on. So there's a night of fireworks, hence that reference, and then comparing it to Palestinian terrorists blowing themselves up! BWAAH! That is some wicked funny shit!
