We are nowhere near defeating the Taliban. They're as strong or stronger now than they were in 2001 when we first went there. This war could go on another hundred years and we wouldn't win, because they take refuge in neighboring countries we can't pursue them into.

Soon after he withdrew troops, an attack launched and killed a child. We should get back fewer troops. reducing it to 2,500 is simply too low.

We should remove ALL of our troops. Many of the troops fighting there weren't even BORN when the war started. This war is stupid and will never end. It's long past time we came home
