But what some people fail to realize is that with Biden as president, gun rights will be taken away, we are never getting out of quarantine, kids will never go back to school, and their just trying to get Trump out of office when he opened up more job opportunities. He isn't all bad, so pay attention to the facts rather than the opinions.

What is it like to be such a pathetic lair. Republicans have been using the same dead horse bs as long as I have been alive "53" years.

Kids are in school right now you lying

Jobs? Jobs are easy to find they always have been but a job that does not pay enough to even live in a decent apartment is not making some ones life better

So again your just full of shit

Okay. First of all, What I meant was that they will be going back to remote school. Trumps still in office thats why they haven't been moved again. Trump gave more job opportunities because believe it or not, its not easy to get a job. Also don't attack people over opinions. I bet you'd get upset if someone attacked you like you attacked me.

I don't like Biden, but I don't fear gun rights being taken away. First of all, the only way to take guns is shell by shell, turned in at velocity.

But more importantly, the president is not a king. He has to navigate Congress, and reports are that Democrats are infighting as much as the Republicans did in '17 and '18. The biggest threat is that nothing will change, and then when something finally does, it will be the wrong thing.

First of all, that needs to be substantiated. Second of all, even if that happened, so what? Everyone other president in recent history (including Hillary Clinton) conceded pretty much immediately after the race was called, because they aren't bitch baby, narcissistic, insecure snowflakes like Trump. And it's common practice that the president elect gets daily intelligence briefings. By continuing to fight a futile battle, Trump is undermining national security and emboldening his base to be more unhinged and deranged, thus also undermining national security by raising tensions domestically.

Hmmm, since Trump is none of those things and there is credible evidence of fraud, I'll wait for the lawyers and courts to decide it. Trump isn't undermining anything. In the past the transfer of power was never started until after someone conceded or until Jan 14th when the election was decided by the electors.

First of all, lawyers have quit and courts have been giving Trump L after L. Second of all, every single president in recent history has conceded pretty much immediately after the race was called. Trump is an anomaly. And this stuff has real consequences too. It undermines national security in two ways.

One, it prevents Biden from receiving daily intelligence briefings and two, it emboldens Trump's base to be even more unhinged and deranged which will inevitably raise tensions like what happened in Washington D.C. If these two thing weren't confounding variables, I would practically beg Trump to exhaust every legal avenue possible.

After all, it wouldn't hurt to see Trump lose twice. But alas, those variables exist, which is why Trump should concede ASAP.

You are trying to "reason" with a Trump Cult member. I never really cared for insulting others until recently

But the non-stop lies and Anti American BS coming from the right since 16 has me sadly "triggered"

I am more pro gun and constitution than most of those mental midgets could hope to me. And I'm telling you. Trump is a heap of fly shit
0 ups, 4y
Oh yeah, since 2016, things that would have been considered unthinkable just a year ago have now become mainstream. The Overton window has shifted radically to the right that we now have a entire contingent of morons who think the election is stolen.

And Trump doesn't give a flying f**k about the constitution. Whether it be him trying to jail people for burning the flag, strengthening libel laws, gassing peaceful protestors, his violation of the emoluments clause, his rampant corruption/conflicts of interests, etc. etc. And when convenient, some Republicans will abandon their pro gun position (ie. see Ronald Reagan).

Nope, Trumps lawyers haven't lost anything yet. You are mixing up various other groups that have no clue what they are doing.

How are you defining 'recent?' The 2000 election was a damn mess.
0 ups, 4y,

2000 was an outlier. That's because it was a difference of hundreds of votes. It's not even remotely comparable to the 2020 election, where the relevant swing states that Biden won were decided by tens of thousands of votes.
0 ups, 4y,

The whole concept of an 'outlier' is logically unsound. Labelling something an outlier is tantamount to dismissing it.

There are some states where he did not win by ten of thousands. To be clear, I think that he will eventually be declared the winner. If it was important that every vote be counted, why is it not important to be certain the count is certain before it is certified?
0 ups, 4y,

No shit I'm dismissing 2000 because once again, it was a difference of a couple hundred votes in one state, whereas in the 2020 election, Biden won states by thousands of votes.

The vote has been certified, by election officials from both parties across the country, Republican senators, Trump administration officials (like acting DHS secretary Chad Wolf), etc. etc. Certifying an already decided election is a futile waste of time that'll undermine US national security by:

1. Not allowing Biden to receive daily intelligence briefings in order for him to prepare for his role as president

2. Emboldening a contingent of braindead idiots who think the election is stolen, further dividing the nation.

BULLSHIT.

First, US security has multiple failsafes. It doesn't rely on one man.
Second, if our security was so dependent on the Pres-Elect being briefed, we were never secure in the first place.
These are made up scare tactics.
Third, the nation was divided before this election, and before the one before that. The country has been divided since at least 2000, as deadbox pointed out. The division is not caused by a party or a president, or an election. I think it is caused by one group wanting to determine how everyone else is going to live, but that's just my opinion.

1. You're an idiot if you think Trump delaying the transition won't undermine national security. Multiple government officials and experts confirm this; I'll trust them over you any day. Because guess what? Being a president is incredibly difficult, so you have to ready on. day. one. By preventing classified briefings about what's happening right now (which is a lot), Biden will enter the presidency woefully unprepared, thus severely undermining national security. This isn't a very difficult concept to grasp.

2. I wasn't born when the 2000 election occurred, but I know for a fact that the division following the 2000 election doesn't even come close to the division that's occurring right now. And that division will get exponentially worse every day Trump doesn't concede. 70 million brainwashed sheep who adamantly believe that the election was stolen due to Trump being a whiny sore lose dipshit is not an auspicious recipe for democracy.

#2 explains a lot. You don't know for fact, because you weren't there. All of your information is second hand, about the 2000 election and about our national security. You still think all of this is real. That's not your fault, because young people rarely recognize the difference between political strategy and political ideology. What is said is rarely as important as why they say it.

Oh, I didn't but my parents did. I'm relaying their experiences. I could literally do a survey if I really, really wanted to of one hundred adults who lived through 2000 and I guarantee you 20000000% that they will unanimously say that 2020 is more divisive. And it gets more divisive each day Trump doesn't concede. There wasn't widespread talk about civil war or widespread protests in 2000. A couple months after the election everything got back to normal. Then 9/11 happened and the country was more unified than ever before. If another 9/11 event happened in 2020, there would be no such unity.
0 ups, 4y
2020 would look larger because it is closer in our memory. And like everything else, how you are affected depends largely on where you live. There was talk of the election tearing the country apart and the political polarity that was developing. Yes, 9/11 did unite the country...for about three years and then the old rifts returned. But even so it wasn't as divisive now. The point is that the country wasn't united and Trump didn't start the division.

First off, thank you for linking a source.

Second, I haven't seen any further effort, beyond asking for more money to prepare for counter-litigation, to actually counter the current lawsuits.
