I’ve heard of such things before, and those pastors are probably not even saved. I don’t think they should be counted as Christian because they don’t act like God tells people to. Technically you could cite the church in Florida that hates people and rejoices when disasters like Irma happen, but that church has nothing to do with God, no matter what makes them think that. Jesus did say there’d be people who think they know Him and He’ll say “Depart from Me; I never knew you.” This is undoubtedly one of them.
