Well, even for antifa they wear masks.

No. Because it only takes 15 minutes of standing next to someone to get infected.

Trump rallies, not exactly known for the crowd moving around much. So, there you are, standing next to some infected jerk who doesn't care, for how long before Trump comes on stage? And he's there for how long?

Yeah, that's why the rallies are super spreader events and outdoor marches aren't (along with the mask wearing).

Hey whistlelock! I so wish what you were saying about 15 minutes was true. If so, we wouldn't need to social distance or EVER wear masks unless we plan to spend at least 15 minutes in close contact with someone.

I said many times here, is the facemask in crowds, no safe distance, in riots, people wear mask (for anonimity) but also for covid, in many trumpr allies, there was like 90% without mask, that seems retarded for me. I support Trump anyway. The truth is the truth. Facemask works, are neccesary. Stop being idiot.

Actually, they don't work. Here's the math:

Viruses do not travel alone in the air, they travel in flugge droplets of different sizes. Even in aerosols. Among all those infected, there is an approximate percentage of 10% of super contagion, they are asymptomatic, and in a mass event they can infect dozens and dozens of people, unless they wear a mask, if we all wear a mask, those people will also wear it , reduces the viral load that can leave them when you breathe, and enter the airways of other people, this reduces the probability of developing serious symptoms. Find out from serious sources.

It's never too late to stop being an anti-mask idiot

According to the NIH, flugge droplets range in size. Most are STILL too small to be filtered by an n95. This is a moot point anyway. Very few people wear n95's, and I highly doubt that the much more popular basic cloth masks are nearly as effective.

It would be good for people to think and stop justifying the unjustifiable. First of all is the precautionary principle. After that are the evidence and studies. To this day it is an indisputable scientific fact that masks work. He who does not want to see is no more blind.

So far, I've used math and the NIH. Where's your sources???

Search for them. Convince yourself.

If it is so easy to check, then you should not put a meme saying that. I think you're stupid.
0 ups, 3y
The internet is full of articles recommending the use of masks, and you ask me what my sources are. The question is insulting.
0 ups, 3y
Go you, clown, look for that information, I am not going to do your job, you should be responsible.
0 ups, 3y
How old are you?
0 ups, 3y
..And these stats are for the N95, the gold standard! But I'm sure a mere piece of cloth works just as well. "Duck and Cover" anybody?
0 ups, 3y
The riots do, idiot lol.
0 ups, 3y
How is it that Oregon has virtually zero cases but there've been riots all summer even until today?

It is quite peculiar.

the "riots" are usually masked
0 ups, 3y
The key word is "usually". If you believe all the bullshit, it only takes one naked face in a crowd for it to become a super-spreader event. Hence the hypocrisy .

Source? I would wager that's a pre-pandemic photo. You do know that BLM protests have been happening since 2013, right?

Here's a recent one.

Nice try.

Yep. And got over it. The way most who get it do. Lockdowns and masks have been proven ineffective if not more harmful. I’ve worn a mask less than 10 times. Been out and about as much as possible. If I get it, which the odds are against, then I get it. And the odds are it’ll be a minor issue.

15 minutes of standing next to someone who's infected is all that it takes.

when you're walking on the street or hallway or even in a store, are you standing next to a person for more than 15 minutes?
0 ups, 3y,

Re-read what you wrote. Notice words "walking" and "standing".
0 ups, 3y
yes, exactly. In most everyday scenarios where anyone is in public, you're not standing still next to the same person for more than 15 minutes. So the notion of shutting down every business as a "pre-caution" is very extreme, because that's not how people are catching COVID. People are catching COVID from their own family members in their house.

Not at all. Coats are proven to keep you warm. Masks are NOT proven to prevent virus transmission. Not even close to being the same... Or scientific.

Besides... if you want to take a chance at hypothermia... don't wear a coat. If you want to take the minimal risk that you'll get COVID-19, then don't wear a mask.

Laws REQUIRING folks to wear coats would be a closer comparison. But let each person manage their own risk.

Solved.
