I have heard a lot of talk regarding the narrative you and others have expressed here, but I have seen little (zero) data actually backing it up.

The number of excess deaths (deaths above and beyond the range of what would be considered typical) is currently roughly 300,000... Meaning there were roughly 300,000 MORE deaths than would be normally expected this year....normal deaths of other causes being 1,000,000+.

Theoretically if your meme about covid killing off heart attacks, diabetes, cancer, car crashes, etc was accurate, you would expect to see the number of covid attributed deaths cutting into the amount of normal deaths... Not less than the amount of excess deaths.

Beyond this obvious problem, I've actually seen data indicating the exact opposite of what you're claiming. For example the number of overdoses has increased in 40 states. Suicides have also increased.

I have seen the "hospitals have incentive to lie" argument... I have not seen data demonstrating it happening.

Idk. Change my mind.

The entire covid narrative is destroyed by the CDC's own admissions that
"no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV are currently available"
and that the PCR tests are testing for RNA which is "PRESUMED" to come from covid-19.
So wouldn't it be more realistic and ethical to say that hundreds of thousands of people
are "presumed" to have died from covid based on the word of doctors who had
a financial incentive to issue a covid diagnosis and PCR tests that are presumed to
detect a virus that hasn't even been proven definitively to exist in the first place?

Seriously....? 7 months and a million+ deaths worldwide in and you're like... Eh... Covid might not even exist...? Wow.. way to step up the crazy.

Sounds like a good defense or Andrew Cuomo, Donald Trump, etc.

In any case, Reuters debunked this ridiculous claim a week ago.. but let me guess........ Soros?

If they had the specimen, why didn't they use it?

...and I've read the Reuters article, have you? It was the opinion of one guy & not
one reference.
They tried the common shell game tactic, throwing out technical terms assuming
(correctly) that most will read the headline, believe the story is debunked, and move on,
but they debunked nothing.
The reason they gave for using transcribed RNA instead of RNA from the real virus is that
"at the time...not many standardized and quantified viral stocks would have been available to extract viral RNA from"..................................... not many or none? Because if any specimens existed don't you think that whatever possible steps would've been taken to acquire it in order
to produce an accurate and reliable test?

You seem like an intelligent person, do you really accept this completely weak excuse?
A dangerous virus is sweeping the world killing hundreds of thousands. We COULD get a sample
of the real virus but there's not very many and it's way over there, gas is so expensive...

I'm not just braying about conspiracy here, you can mock me all you like.
This demands a better explanation in my opinion.

"common shell game tactic, throwing out technical terms"

Interesting......

Yes I have read it.

"One guy"

Yes. Dr Thushan de Silva, from the University of Sheffield’s Department of Infection, Immunity and Cardiovascular Disease... I imagine most doctors laughed this youtube conspiracy theory out of the room.

Millions of people have tested positive for covid and have developed corresponding symptoms.. if covid doesn't exist, what exactly are the tests identifying?? Are they faking physical symptoms... deaths?
0 ups, 4y,

You're missing the point.
You can develop all the tests you want and write papers to infinity, but if they are based
on presumptions, they're worthless.

...and I don't care who de Silva is, the "debunk" was still just his opinion.

What are they testing positive for? F**k if I know...probably the FLU?!! Read the meme XD

No I see your point. I just think it's incredibly ignorant.

I'm not just making things up here. They said it, I'm asking questions.
What's ignorant about that?
I'm just not so quick to buy the debunking. It seems flimsy to me.

big gov. agency for that matter.

Your original meme "what a coincidence" is not asking a question.. it is implying an answer to one.

Covid tests are based on presumptions and therefore are "worthless".... is not asking a question. It's creating words you might eat in the future. (Go to any parties in San Antonio lately?)
:o

You see 2 lines from the CDC and extrapolate from them that coronavirus might not even exist... Meanwhile you don't even trust the CDC in the first place. Which is obvious considering you ignore whatever hundreds or thousands of other lines about covid from the CDC... You're apparently skeptical of the million+ global deaths... You think Reuter's Doctor who actually went out of their way to debunk this was "flimsy" (akin to bothering to debunk the flat earth theory imo..) Then you go on to say it's probably the same as the (seasonal) flu... despite it not being seasonal and so obviously different.
0 ups, 4y
I'm sure you can pick my words apart all day. But you're still dancing
around the main point.

...and what's that about San Antonio?

The sad thing is they are posting the truth on their own website: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm#Comorbidities
Only 6% of the deaths attributed to covid are covid alone. The rest are with other things.
152,000 of the deaths attributed to covid have completely unrelated comorbidities.

Actually the sad thing is the amount of misinformation being propagated by Trump etc about something which kills so many Americans.

We are expected to believe that comorbidities negate the number of covid deaths....... but when it comes to making seasonal flu comparisons, comorbidity deaths are apparently legit. Trump even went so far as to say "sometimes over 100,000" deaths (for the seasonal flu)....... Ya... no.. The highest it's been for seasonal flu is 61,000 and that's going back decades.

I think the flu deaths are over reported due to pharma wanting to sell more vaccines that are pointless and don't work (2019 flu vaccine was only 16% effective over not getting it).
The main issue is they can't make a full determination of what actually killed the individual. They put down everything they think did and put covid on there as the primary cause to get money for their hospital.
We know that the flu deaths have gone down 92% since 2019, so we know the flu comorbidity is probably from flu or a combination of flu and covid.
What we absolutely do know is that the death rate is 0.05% for people under 70.

"flu deaths are over reported due to pharma"
sounds like you either only selectively believe the CDC... or you believe that big pharma somehow controls the reporting of flu deaths..or both.

"they can't make a full determination of what actually killed the individual. They put down everything they think did and put covid on there as the primary cause to get money for their hospital"

Roughly a quarter of a million extra people died this year... It's quite a coincidence that they
A. had covid-19
and B. died within a month or 2 of catching it

Also... Bro.... Hospitals are not paid for covid deaths.
0 ups, 4y,

They are paid for covid deaths. Go look it up. Its part of Trumps emergency covid stimulus. Doctors have came out and admit they are being pressured to put covid on the death certificates.

It sounds like you believe that the CDC, employees which are made up of the revolving door from big pharma, wouldn't be biased in any way.
I'm a realist. I know most people are corrupt that get into power. I have no illusions that the CDC would not trump up flu (a mostly harmless virus for healthy people) for years in order to sell more flu shots (very ineffective, 2019 is 16% effectiveness over not getting one).

I do know they are trumping up covid because whistle blowers have came out and explained how they are doing it. Of course most people don't know this because their videos and tweets get removed by social media in an attempt to control information.

I'd like to see some sources for your "quarter of a million extra people died this year". I looked up statistical deaths and saw a tiny bump which is almost nothing.

They're not. They are being paid more for covid TREATMENTS. But as far as I know whether or not a patient dies from covid makes no difference. So no, they're not adding it to death certificates for $.

If anything, theoretically they might be financially motivated to inflate active covid case numbers among patients admitted but it seems to me they'd also have to be committing malpractice (administering unnecessary covid treatments to people who don't need it). And the CDC would have to be involved in a conspiracy to inflate excess death estimates in conjunction with that because if patients admitted were being marked as covid and dying from whatever normal causes theoretically there would be virtually zero excess deaths...only a bunch of covid cases with normal amount of deaths.. Unlessss......

Darko's half baked conspiracy theory episode #738.. doctors are killing patients to inflate covid deaths....

https://www.foxnews.com/health/hospitals-medicare-patients-cost-coronavirus

They pay more for covid care. They put covid on the death certificates so that they don't investigate whether they died from forced ventilation of lungs with lesions from covid, and it makes the whole 'they had covid' look more legitimate. They also get paid for 'after life care' of covid patients until their bodies leave the hospital. Sadly there is an incentive for them to do it.

CDC doesn't check the deaths, they just collate the numbers. No conspiracy needed. You are expecting a bureaucracy to do independent investigations to verify numbers. They don't have the budget or the care to do it.

Its more that there are a lot of uncaring people in power right now, some of which might be pushing the numbers just because they don't like Trump.
Doctor's are not killing patients intentionally. Some are ventilating when its harmful to do so. Others are just marking covid on death certificates for everyone because they are told to do it.

I have heard bad things about ventilators (in general). I have not heard about doctors being told to mark covid on death certificates for everyone because they are told to do it.

I have heard many things about fox news... One thing I have not heard is that they are trying to hurt trump...I say this because the fox news article you sent me claimed 70,000 deaths due to covid (from Jan-May 4th). If all deaths were being marked as covid from Jan-May 4th, the number would be in the hundreds of thousands which as far as I know, nobody is claiming. There probably will be investigations, some instances will be found here and there, and they will be pumped to "voter fraud" levels of hype.

Depends. You would have to cross reference the number of total deaths of that period and through history and do a comparison.
Fox news is balanced in the sense that some shows are far left and other shows are far right. If you watched it 24/7 you'd probably get a balanced mix of news.
0 ups, 4y
??? that is exactly what I did.
70,000 is roughly the same as the amount of extra deaths at the time and is significantly lower than the total number of deaths from all causes.
Last time I actually watched Fox news might have been the Bill O'reilly era.

Sane people are social distancing and wearing masks. Of course that will cut down on flu cases. Plus, the summer months aren't typically flu season, so we're just getting back into it. And people are taking the CDC's advice on how important flu shots are this year. Wear masks, and don't listen to the Russian anarchists that post this pro-trump crap here.
2 ups, 4y
Sane people are living healthy lives, not worrying about covid, and not contributing to the hysteria
of a virus that by the CDC's own admission, hasn't been proven to exist.
