I think the furthest the court will ever go would be either relegating civil marriage to states again or preventing the government from 'marrying' people but requiring that it recognize any couple's ability to live together and claim financial and tax benefits from doing so. There's no Constitutional basis for preventing civil legislation that allows two people to live together...in fact doing so would be a downright violation of the 1st Amendment.

That being said, that also means people can't get triggered when Catholics, Jews, and Muslims oppose same-sex couples living together. It's a two way street paved with salt.

If basic human science denies women and a women marrying, or a man and a man, then there has to be something out of order. In other words, if a man on man and woman on a woman cannot produce a baby, which is science denying the interaction, then there is a problem.

Who decides what is hate speech? The government right now is republican controlled. If they were to decide that pro-BLM speech was hate speech would you feel like that was okay?
