i'm experiencing large delays in approval of most memes also. I'm thinking it's cause is along the lines of memes which aren't standard templates require moderator approval and therefore with only so many moderators their workload has maybe doubled or more.
With so many paid blow-ins from foreign corporations like the DNC putting up memes as they realise just how far behind they are in the actual race. There is a large upsurge in memes requiring human eyes. Most of the paid memers are using custom talking point stuff which wont just be put up as I understand approvals working.
Also you would have noticed how many memes are reaching 8 9 or over 10000 views. These numbers are usualy unheard of on here for political memes. So with a combination of more memes being published and more people viewing those memes. Some memes are getting seen whilst others are languishing mixed in amongst al the other new ones being submitted.
You as I probably look at Hot as well as New memes and I would say that more people are starting at hot and working through rather than starting at new. And this is creating memes which should do better getting stuck deep an unseen as well as not being viewable within the better higher traffic times.
This is just my observation, no need reply just get those memes up which have all been above average even if they didn't score that way.
