This meme is dripping with white supremacy. The first pic is showing people of mixed ethnicity (the dreaded "half-breed"). If they're part white and identify as white, that's entirely within their right. Same for Kamala. If she's part black and identifies as black, that's her right, too. Who tf are you to say they can't?

You expose yourself with your attitude toward people of color. They're not allowed to be white but according to people like you, they're not allowed to be their color, either. Either way they're trying to be something they're not in their quest for equality which they're never allowed to achieve because of their skin color. Criticizing "half-breeds" for their identity is straight out of the white power playbook. Why are we even having this conversation? Why were there ever people trying to pass as anything? This country is and always has been white and whatever other color someone is. Would you believe Kamala if she identified as white? There'd be 100 memes ridiculing her for it.

There were still lynchings in the 40's. The KKK were still showing up at peoples' houses at night and burning crosses on their lawns. So yeah, people wanted to be white because being black could get you killed (ironically). God forbid you fall in love with a white girl. That was against the law in some states (see the film "Loving" for more on that).

African-Americans absolutely have come a long way since the 40's. They can actually look in a mirror without crying their eyes out over the color of their skin (except for maybe self-loathers like Candace Owens). People in the media are showing them that it's ok to be black. But they've fought every step of the way and they're still fighting. This disgusting meme is saying that racism doesn't exist anymore when we've got a racist president refusing to disavow white supremacists on national TV.

The falsity of your argument is what is being pointed out. If there is so much racism today why are people trying to pass as black.

White supremacists hate half-breeds with a passion. I'm not sure what it is. I think they can't stand the idea of race-mixing. It's particularly loathsome to them if they're part white. Maybe it's a symbol of the dissolution of their whiteness? IDK either.

That may be true for some... It may also be that they want something like a "gotcha moment"/to call out Joe Biden.. like Joe biden is a liar because he said he'd pick a black woman for VP and Kamala isn't black... Except that she kind of IS black and Joe Biden never actually said that...

It surprised me but that whole "Joe Biden will be picking a black female" narrative before he chose Kamala seems to have been false. As far as I can tell he committed to picking a woman. He did not commit to picking a black female nor a woman of color.(Just in case you also fell for that fake news!).
