Hahaha you really got him there, you badass.

But it's good to know that all those black people that kill whites on a far greater scale than whites kill blacks are all racist.

He is not a murderer, he is a policeman who was doing his f**king job. he got instruction where to go and what to do. He did that got shot and fired back. If she was white she would have been just as dead I. The same circumstance. A tragedy due to sloppy procedure on no knock warrants. The law needs to include safeguards that are not overly ponderous. The officers did not act on racism. They took fire and acted on instinct.

probably because he's not a murderer

But he is threatening to go to court with anyone who calls him that. His lawyer needs to go back to law school if he thinks that shit will fly.

Defamation is defamation. I don't know how many hundreds of millions of dollars it will cost your lot to get this thru' their heads ...but I'm sure the lawyers don't mind

Defamation can be extremely difficult to prove. Many of us have the opinion that he murdered her - and if it's an opinion, it might not be considered defamatory. Also, it points to how messed up the criminal justice system can be - no one is charged in her death but he could go to court to sue over people calling him a name.

it's defamatory if you say it or print it and it's a lot easier to prove in the age of social media/digital recording equipment.

Sandemann's lawyer would eat that for breakfast

why should anyone be charged? just because someone dies during a police raid doesn't mean the cops done something wrong, or that someone has to be charged. Have you been a cop? No? Have you ever put your life on the line ...for anything?

This incessant reeeeing from the left has a huge effect on actual, bona-fide cases ...you keep crying wolf, people gonna stop listening

Maybe her boyfriend shouldn't have started shooting at the police.

Maybe the police shouldn't have broke down their door in the middle of the night on a warrant looking for stuff that was not there.

A warrant doesn't guarantee finding anything. It's called an investigation. Not an excuse.

But then why not come NOT at midnight and wait longer before you take a battering ram to the door? If you're looking for a murder suspect to arrest, that tactic is more justifiable.

Yes, point taken that they don't want to alert them. But if it's not an arrest warrant looking for a dangerous criminal, why do the cops need to even put themselves in that type of situation? Her name was on the warrant and they were investigating her but I haven't personally seen anything that made it seem like they needed to execute the warrant in that matter so urgently. They had recorded calls with her talking to the past boyfriend in jail and money, and video of them going to her apartment, him getting out to go inside, then getting back to the car and they left. Perhaps more background information will come out in further investigations - but that was what the police included in their "smear" report they hastily put together AFTER this shit went down. If they had better evidence/information, why not include it to justify the operation.

she previously hired a car in which her ex bf dumped a dead body ...probably best to take that into consideration before visiting her house with a warrant, i would think

Butttt the warrant had nothing to do with that. They were looking for money and drugs - none of which were found.

"money and drugs" I'm sure there's a third thing that usually goes along with that ...can't quite place it

She didn't have any guns - and I don't recall them having evidence of her having/purchasing guns in the past. Her boyfriend that was with her had no criminal record (although they didn't expect him to be there) and he had his gun legally. So the police can come during the day, knock on the door, speak with her and show her the warrant and determine the next steps/conduct their investigation. Would have made a whole lot more sense.

How many cops do you think would have died if they'd taken your approach, as opposed to mine?
0 ups, 4y
From a legal perspective, you're probably right regarding the warrant. From a practical perspective, there's absolutely no reason for the cops to discount information like that, assuming it's true, when they execute the warrant. To do so would be putting their own lives at risk, needlessly.

Also, was she ever arrested or charged with anything in connection to that? I admittedly haven't read much about that incident.

I don't know, but again, when cops are preparing a warrant and something like that pops up on someone's record ...they'll have to take precautions. if they don't they might not all make it home that night

Let's hope the family's attorney's call for releasing the grand jury testimony is honored. That's the only way you, or I , and especially anyone in the media is going to know why they recommended what they did. Until then, your claims of a "smear" report are baseless, and you know it.

btw, I don't think either of us should hold our breath, since grand jury testimony is supposed to be sealed. I believe it's okay for it to be released in federal cases, but that won't matter in this case.

How many times do the cops have to knock? According to the cops, who I know you hate, and I often distrust, they knocked 5 or 7 times, announcing themselves each time.

If they're looking for drugs, why not just shout through the door that they'll wait, while those inside go ahead and flush them all. Now that sounds like the type of approach you would get behind. Everybody's safe, and nobody gets arrested for dealing drugs.

You do know, I assume, that this was part of a coordinated raid carried out at four other locations, right? It's not like the cops were looking for the basement dwelling millennial who sells weed to support his own pot smoking. They were after serious drug dealers. I don't think you know very much about Ms. Taylor, other than what the left controlled, anti-cop media tells you that you know.
0 ups, 4y
Now some bodycam footage has come out so I assume the grand jury saw the cops announce themselves at the door because they determined that they had. The left always jumps the gun on these issues. Time will tell.

Because the no knock order got changed at the last minute. And neither of us know how long they knocked. They weren't looking for a murder suspect.
1 up, 4y,
1 reply
Yes, exactly so if they are not looking for a murder suspect, why do you need to bust down the door in the middle of the night?
0 ups, 4y
Because it's becoming clearer that they did knock and they didn't answer. Hopefully they will release the rest, if they indeed get that on tape. Like others said, give them too much time and they could flush the drugs, depending on what type.

So warrants can't be executed, according to your keen legal mind, unless the cops are looking for "stuff" that they already know is there?

I guess the term probable cause is lost on you, hey legal beagle?

And the entire process of having judges sign warrants is something I speculate you would violently protest against, and burn down a few businesses while you're at it, right?

Well, get on out there and have at it!

The drug dealer was her ex boyfriend. The current boyfriend who shot the cop in self defense has no criminal record. Also, dumb bitch, really??

Pretty judgmental of you, considering you have almost zero FACTS to go on, hey STFU?

Considering it's so called progressives who are supposed to be against fat shaming, or shaming of any kind. But in one post you managed to shame people bullied in high school,a dn those who "choke the chicken." Really, choke the chicken shaming? Chicken envy, much?

You strike me as one helluva dimwitted hypocrite snowflake.

Besides, isn't is millennials with sociology degrees who live with their parents?
