I think that they should vote by Internet. Then, right there it will have a system that checks for authenticity of the voter, it will have more security. With today's technology there is no reason why we should go to a place to vote or to vote by mail. You just simply go to a page, provide the information required, cast your vote, and done. In the backend there will be an automated system that will gather the data and if it is valid it will allow the vote to go, if not then it will simply reject the vote. That simple.

There plenty of evidence of the risks and actual fraudulent acts related to mail in voting and ballot harvesting. Being Canadaian we wouldn’t expect you to understand the difference between mail on voting and absentee ballots. Hint: it’s in the name. They are not the same. You don’t change the voting system a few months before an election unless you are trying to cheat. Actually, I live in Texas so it's not an option. To qualify you have to be like really old/infirm/sick/not gonna be in the country. I'm not any of those things, so it's standing in line for me.

But why do I need it so bad? Because the post office is an amazing damn thing. My sister used to live in South Africa for a few years. Mail there was....iffy, at best. But here? You can send a letter across the country in 3 days for less than a dollar.

You can buy those stamps online. They will deliver the stamps to your house. Then pick up the letter you want to mail with those stamps 6 days a week FOR FREE.

Nothing new it’s been goin on for years. The house Of reps holds the purse strings for the post office so they will get funded I’m sure. Trump said he would sign off on a stand alone but the Dems refuse because they want it tied into blue state bail outs and other pork.

Congress funds the post office. Trump agreed to sign any standalone bill that will fund the US post office. He also donate tons of money from his own budget to keep it running.
