You may want to consider that both parties are saying the same thing, yet they both mean something completely different. And if you call out Trump for not buying American, you have to call out Biden for it, too.
Trump is telling Americans to buy American goods in order to get back at China, who we have been in a trade war with, and might I remind you that China’s own President Xi is responsible for this whole pandemic. As long as you’re not buying anything made in China, you’re doing as he says.
Joe Biden on the other hand is pulling a classic socialist move. Buying American products and raising taxes on imported goods is a method of protecting small businesses from large corporations. But the problem is, with all that protection, the small businesses will never “grow up.” And, when the taxes on imported goods are repealed or lowered, the small business will tank because it took advantage of the opportunity to stay where it was, and not move forward and live longer.
