As we age, our immune response capability becomes reduced. It's why the average covid death is 82. Having a healthy lifestyle boosts your immune system--fruits, vegetables, less stress, sleep, weight control, exercise, less alcohol, etc. The reason most people get colds or flu in the winter is we stay indoors more (hello shelter in place bullshit).

The meme makes a point. The immune system is adaptive. You can't hide from germs. Coming in contact with germs triggers your immune system and a record is stored for future fights. Your body creates new antibodies whenever it’s infected with a new antigen. If the same antigen infects you a second time, your body can quickly make copies of the corresponding antibody to destroy it.

Look at the data. Italy and the UK are showing 95% of covid deaths are elderly or preexisting conditions (at-risk immune systems). My guess the other 5% are immune related issues (alcohol, fatigue, stress, poor diet, overweight, etc). In time we will look back and realize this was panic porn pushed by the media and ill informed leaders. We will shake our heads and wonder how dumb society was in 2020.

true story | THE MAIN REASON THE AVERAGE AGE OF COVID-19 DEATHS IS 82 IS DEMOCRAT GOVERNORS | image tagged in true story | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
But having a weak immune system certainly didn't help their chances of defending against Democrat governors.
Perhaps we should change the name of this from "Wuhan Virus" to "Democrat Governors"...

Something you missed, smoking. In Italy - smoking is way more common than in the USA. Smokers are hit hard by COVID-19, which is why Italy had such a high mortality rate.

You realize that you're trying to use a virus that SPECIFICALLY DESTROYS THE IMMUNE SYSTEM to prove your weak af point, right? Besides, with a 92% recovery rate of closed cases worldwide, with 99% of active cases in MILD condition. Yeah, it's better to risk building a free immunity than to shell out thousands of dollars for pills, treatments, and vaccines that aren't guaranteed to work: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

If you want to get sick with Covid and die, you go first, and tell us how it was. And try not to infect others who don't consent to your, ahem, 'logic.' Deal?

You actually have that backwards. The point is that underexposure to environmental bacteria leads to the body not having a sense of how much of the immune system is too much, and then you start to develop things like autoimmune conditions where the body attacks itself.

A low immune system isn't caused by lack of exposure; there's ALWAYS exposure.

Read an interesting article a couple of years ago about similarities between the Alt Right mentality and that of ISIL terrorists. Seems I bookmarked it in a tablet that died, because I can't find it, and web searches have been to no avail (I originally chanced upon it by accident while looking up some other forgotten thing).

Well one trait they both share besides being enraged single young men given to group thought and following authoritarian figures on a quest for that elusive imaginary golden age of yore is this obsession/phobia of homosexuality. Interestingly, among the belongings found of dead ISILs is a surprising amount of homoerotic type material, porn and what
not.
Their animosity seems born more of denial, resistance to accepting their true inclanations, and their never having had a relationship with a women may be more than a simple lack of luck in the love dept. Joining such a movement might be about getting in a rigid social structure that will 'cure' them of these unwanted thoughts they have trouble controlling. Oh, and surround themselves with other likeminded gents in need of removal from temptation,,,

Well guess who else can't hammer enough nails to keep that closet door closed?

A healthy immune system most definitely relies on exposure to the environment that’s why you get Montezumas revenge drinking water in Mexico and Mexicans get it when they first come here. Different bugs in the water. You are such a dope selling your false bullshit.

Nobody grows up in a sterile environment. Everyone finds immunity to something. Your meme is wrong.
1 up, 4y
Your existence is wrong, it has nothing to do with sterile environment it has to do with the environment you are exposed to and when that environment changes you are susceptible. When Europeans came to the New World they changed the environment. The native population had no defense for the bugs they introduced and were never exposed to even though they were exposed to the ones in their environment their entire lives.
