The point is that liberals are so afraid of guns, they are even afraid of make believe guns. If they wont even tolerate the ownership of imaginary guns, only an odiot would believe they don't fully intend to outlaw the ownership of real guns. So clearly, they will be coming for our guns. Perhaps not today, but it is CLEARLY in their long term plans.
(I used our because I wasn't really sure how to phrase it. I don't know if you have any guns, and I choose not to own them for personal reasons, but I support others right to choose whether or not to own guns)
Also, the move to take Elmer Fudds gun is utterly moronic. He is a hunter, that is literally about all the character development he gets. A hunter uses a *gasp* gun to hunt. In this case, the gun is clearly being used as a tool, in a manner that even most liberals claim to be okay with, yet they are still so offended by the gun's mere presence that they have asked for (possibly demanded) it to be removed.

Hearing (okay, reading) that name makes me nostalgic. So many users (both good and bad) have left since imgflip restructured the meme streams. It's just not the same experience or community as it used to be.

There's something odd about that. His record on guns doesn't match up well with his vocal disdain of them and calls for gun control. Guns sales actually went up. I suppose he might not have been strong enough to take on the gun lobby, but part of me has always wondered if we don't live in some bizarro world where presidents achieve their goals through demanding the opposite.

Those are not cases of Donald Trump lying. For example, let's say a child intends on getting 90% on his test, but receives 80%. Does that make the child a liar for incorrectly predicting his test score? Those things have not happened yet thanks to the Democrats.

We could just use a hand wave - all politicians lie - but that feels like a dodge. I think all of them promise more than they can possibly deliver, and have to do so to get elected. Maybe that is just a different way of saying the same thing.
