It is the left-controlled media carrying the Chinese Communist Party's water. The latest episode of 60 Minutes referred to the theory that the Wuhan Bat virus came from a lab, as "debunked." Of course, they didn't say who had debunked it.

The problem with that is obvious; people trust 60 Minutes, even though they now lie as much as CBS does on the whole, and the rest of the media (yes, both sides.)

Hell, I used to trust 60 Minutes! No longer. As George W. Bush supposedly said, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me; fool me three times, won't get fooled again.

The coronavirus does seem precision-targeted to ravage open societies that place a high value on freedom which also happen to currently be saddled with incompetent, self-regarding leadership and a small though politically significant bloc of conspiracy-minded individuals — while curiously sparing those with strong governments, fewer traditions of freedom, scientifically literate leaders and compliant populations.
